Microsoft Surface Pro Signature Type Cover – Ice Blue

I bought the Microsoft Type Cover in "Ice Blue". It is gorgeous. And the texture of the fabric is delightful to the touch. Also works well.

I'm so happy to be able to type on a keyboard again! The original keyboard on my Microsoft Surface stopped working and it was so frustrating having to type using the digital keyboard. I was thrilled to find this replacement online, and ecstatic that it worked IMMEDIATELY after clicking it into place. I'm typing this review on my new keyboard. I thought I'd have to buy a whole new computer, but thanks for my new keyboard, I'm back in business for a whole lot less!

This is a review for the 'Ice Blue' keyboard. For starters it looks great but it's the functionality that made me give it 5 stars. Two finger scrolling w the touch pad is a breeze, the keys r sharp and responsive, luminescence is excellent, the Alcantara is durable and easy to keep clean, despite looking the same as the previous gen there is a noticeable improvement. It feels more solid, better responsiveness and connecting/disconnecting from my Surface Pro is seamless (it just works). Additionally, despite looking and feeling luxurious/expensive, the MS SP typecover keyboards r extremely durable. They hold up to punishment, coffee/water spills and extended use. Quality product and worth the price. Another thing that separates the MS typecovers from others is their impact on battery, it's negligible...

Love the feel of this compared to my last cheap keyboard . Keyboard is sturdy and easy to type on. Works great on my lap. Automatically paired (didn't have to search) and charges through the Surface. No extra cord. Color is light grey with a ting of blue. Hopefully this will last longer than 4 months.

After reading reviews and pondering my purchase for quite a while I decided to go ahead and buy this cover to replace my red one. My desk area is combined with our living and dining rooms and our color scheme is blues, cream and white. My desk is white and the red keyboard just really stood out like a sore thumb. I took a chance on ordering knowing that other reviews said the keyboard was gray rather than blue but had still held out a little hope that it would be more of a blue gray, hence the "ice". Well, it's here and I'm typing on it as we speak and it's definitely GRAY. There is not even a hint of blue. I'm keeping it as the gray blends in better with our color scheme. It seems to be working great and attached easily to Surface Pro 3. It was packaged well and in it's original Microsoft box so overall I'm happy. Four stars is due to the color.

Surface pro is a great 2-In-1 device by itself, however, this type cover keyboard converts it into a powerful productivity machine. The keyboard is lightweight, stylish, and plugs magnetically to the surface pro device. If you are considering to buy a surface pro, this type cover is a must have!

Fits perfectly and looks wonderful! I have never had to charge it separately and have had it for months.
