National Geographic Glow-in-the-Dark Marble Run for Kids Ages 8-12

This marble run set has been a huge hit in our house. My son(9yr old) received it as a Christmas gift, and he’s had so much fun playing with it. The pieces are good quality and feel sturdy, which is important since it gets used a lot. It was also easy to put together, and he was able to start building and playing with it pretty quickly. It’s a great toy for keeping kids entertained while also letting them be creative. Overall, I would definitely recommend this as a gift—it’s fun, easy to use, and well made.

But fans of marble run in this house! So much so that I have purchased several of these sets as gifts! Comes with a bag for easy storage and clean up. Marbles glow when activated with light pen. My kids are 4+8 years old and both love this toy so much! Screen free activities are a must in a tech filled world! Highly recommend!

*Updated: The more we play, the more frustrating this set is because the pieces like to fall apart very easily if you’re not great at creating a stable creation which results in a frustrated mom and boy. Keep that in mind if you’re child wants to do it independently and is also new to marble runs. That aside, it’s fun. I just wish the small set had more pieces, especially bases to keep it stable to be able to create different designs.*_______ So I gave this a 5 star because although it didn’t make me feel like it’s amazing, it’s great for the price and quality. Our son loved it this morning during Christmas. My husband and him built a few drops. Pros: easy to use, marbles are pretty, the light and glow in the dark feature was a hit, and you can achieve a few different drops with the amount you have. Cons: This isn’t the most sturdiest set, seems to be easy to snap if you have an energetic child like ours so be careful, and wish they have come out with an expansion by now. Over all this is fun and the kid loves it!

This set is pretty neat. My kids enjoy playing with it when we pull it back out, for a little while at least. The excitement seems to wear off pretty quick though. My four year old likes to try and build with it, but my eight year old doesn't have the patience. So, I find myself doing most of the building (I think I might enjoy it more than any one else). There are a lot of pieces, which means a lot of clean up, but it comes with a bag for storage which is nice. Colors are nice, and the glow in the dark marbles work well. It comes with an LED marble charger which is essential. One of the base peices got stepped on and broke right away, which is a bummer since there aren't too many of those that come with the set. It'd be nice if the peices were a bit sturdier, but they fit together well and the marbles roll smoothly when connected properly. Paid 33 dollars and was a decent value for the money. I'd recommend as long as you level set your expectations.

My daughter and I are having a BLAST at all the ways we can play with this toy. I love how it fosters creativity and promotes STEM skills! It's durable, well built, and will last for many more play dates. Highly recommend!

I got it for my 2 and 4yo kids, and even though It says it’s for 8yo+, it is really a lot of fun for young kids. There is no wrong way to construct it, so possibilities are literally unlimited. It is even more fun when you turn off the lights and the marbles glow and slide in an intricate way.

This thing is great. The glowing marbles are a nice touch. It is sturdy enough that it stays standing even when it's on carpet and we don't have a base on every leg. Easy to assemble. My 6-year-old easily builds tracks on his own. My only complaint is that we like to do marble races but there aren't enough pieces to make two equal tracks or to start a race evenly. Now I know, for future marble track purchases, which I'm sure we'll be making. It's a great toy. Tons of fun. And it arrived stupid fast too, which is a nice bonus.

Good quality made with thick and smooth plastics. No rough or sharp edges and everything works wonderful. The luminous marbles are amazing too! My two kids 7 and 9 yo totally enjoying themselves playing with it. May consider getting more to extend their structure and creativity to build more complex structures

Fue regalo para mi hijo y le encanto, al usar canicas/marbles nunca hay que dejarlos sin supervision. no posee instructivo para armar las estructuras, sin embargo despues de la primera que armas, todo se vuelve super facil e intuitivo. La calidad del plastico es muy buena para el tipo de juguete, i.e. no encontraras plasticos mas robustos a menos que sacrifiques el diseño, si tiene piezas que rapidamente se rompieron por pisar o tirar por accidente. Las canicas/marbles no estan bien fabricadas, se nota que se resanaron manualmente despues de agregar los elementos de luminisencia, sin embargo si cumplen muy bien el objetivo de brillar despues de iluminarlas con la lampara que viene incluida, lo compre en descuento en hot sale y definitivamente lo recomiendo!!

Le cadeau a fait tilt. Pas mal de configurations possibles, les billes phosphorescentes sont jolies dans la nuit. Convient pour une tranche d'âge de 6-11 ans je dirais (mais les plus grands peuvent s'amuser avec aussi).
