Giant Notebook | 500 Lined Pages, Purple Garden Theme: 8.5 x 11 in, with Table of Contents and Page Numbers, Golding’s Large Journal Series

I like to write my story notes down rather than type them in a computer and it's stupidity difficult to find a thick journal in which to do so unless I want to pay upwards of twenty bucks. I'm on my third one, so clearly I've gotten lucky before, but it's a hunt every time. Those skinny little ones with the pretentious sayings on the front only last me a month and can really only accommodate one story (my handwriting isn't delicate and I like to elaborate), so I really need a thick one for miscellaneous entries. Walmart and Target routinely let me down.This one, however, is 500+ pages, lined, has a space for the date and (my inner nerd squeals) a table of contents at the beginning! Not just one page, either, but two front and back with two columns on each side. Just perfect. It's a little larger than I pictured (hence the comparison photo I included), but that's hardly the seller's fault since they included the dimensions. It's not heavy, though I wouldn't describe it as light, either. If you've ever been to college, it's about the same size/weight as your average soft cover textbook. In fact, I can see this journal being great for students; it would fit several subjects and you could easily find stuff between the page numbers and TOC.I'll buy another when I eventually fill my new one. It could take awhile, tho. So happy!

I am very happy with this book. It was super difficult to find a blank book that was large because I write a lot, has lines, because I end up off track with blank pages, and I can add to the table of contents in the front. It will make a perfect book of Shadows.

I am an avid journal writer (I write in one every day). These journals are just what I've been looking for. The size is perfect for pictures and stickers and anything else I decide to put on them, and they are thick enough for me to use my fountain pens. I've noticed just a little ghosting from the ink on the other side, but NO bleed through! I wish I had discovered this journals/ notebooks sooner, but I am definitely a returning customer now (I just bought my third one).

Paper is better quality than I expected, a little rough but not bad for writing. Ink doesn't bleed through. I have large handwriting and can get a lot written per page. As a journal, this should last me the entire year.

This is the best journal EVER.The paper is not to thin or thick and the size if the lines are great. SO many pages! Now I look forward to writing every night!
