This key box is extremely study and heavy, which is exactly what I would expect for this kind of item. I suspect you'd have to break the doorknob off first if you even attempted to break/remove this box.For my purposes, I installed it on a doorknob so installation is super easy; After you set your code (which in itself is a straightforward process), you just need to release a strong spring latch on the inside and pop out the shackle. Then just put it over your doorknob and snap it back in where it re-locks the shackle. Makes it convenient enough if you want to remove it temporarily for some reason. In addition to the rubber covering the shackle, the back of the box has foam on in so it doesn't scratch your door or doorknob.It does come with all the hardware needed if you wanted to screw it into a wall, and includes silicone plugs for the shackle holes.At the moment, I'm actually using this on a locked supply closet door on the inside of my building, and works just as well for that.

Feels durable, attaches fairly easily. Has a soft backing so hopefully won't scratch up whatever it's placed against. Very easy to follow instructions to set a code and detach the hook to place somewhere.Only concern I have is that if you have the code to open the box, you also have access to the trigger that releases the loop and allows the entire lockbox to be removed. Theoretically anyone you are trusting to give access to the inside of the lockbox would also be trustworthy enough to not steal the whole lockbox as well, but I could see situations in which you'd want to porch pickup a small item for strangers to come take but you could be afraid that they would also take the box as well.

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Easy to use.Cons: Hook latch little rough.Thinking outside the box I bought this as a kids toy to help with remembering numbers and something new to try. In the future when he’s done with it we’ll make use of it.The dial has easy numbers to read and has grooves to help with his tiny fingers. The opening latch is easy but the hook latch is a little rough. I don’t expect him to move the lock much so it’s not a big deal.Changing the combination is straightforward. The default combo it came with was 0000. It comes with mounting hardware in case you need to do that and also comes with water tight plugs when you remove the hook.Anyhow, overall it’s a good learning toy/tool for my kid.

I have moved back home by my mother's request. She doesn't need to be entering my room. This is perfect. A bonus, I had a bad habit of locking my room key in my room, it should never happen again. I just turn the tumblers, get the key, unlock the door nd put the key back in the box. This product solves two issues. My privacy from unwanted eyes and adds a routine, that if followed I will never lock my room key in my room. I can quickly and effectively slip into my room while maintaing ultimate security. One of my best buys ever. Super way easy to install and personalize the tumbler code. I couldn't ask for a better product. Perfect price point, installation was a snap. It went from in the box to total security in less than 5 minutes. I am extremely happy with it. I will gladly recommend this to anyone who asks.

At first I was happy with my lock box until I was ready to use it, found out my code was not opening it. It was the first time using it so might have messed up when I set it up. No problem, the customer service was exceptional. They were quick to response and fix my issue by guiding me through how to open the lock, when that didn't work, they replaced it right away. The lock is sturdy and of good quality and easy to use. I would recommend this product.

Purchased this in April 2022. Used it for house sitter while away. The match mechanism no longer works or sticks rendering it useless. It was used sporadically over 18 months.

Es de muy buen materia. Para configurar la contraseña es muy fácil y la pequeña agarradera tipo U que tiene me sirvió muy bien, en único inconveniente es el espacio para guardas las llaves. Solo me caben unas llaves, no pude guardar 2 x lo que no cumple completamente para lo que la necesitaba.
