GREAT purchase! Will order again!
I bought these plants for my small frog pond. I honestly wasn’t expecting much ordering water plants over the internet, especially since the plants shipped from the opposite coast, but I have been very pleased with my purchase. The price was reasonable, the plants were well-packaged, and they arrived earlier than predicted. There was understandable decay on the roots, and the parrot feather was in pretty bad shape, but because of the price and swift delivery, I didn’t really mind. I was expecting to lose one or two, but they have been thriving! I followed the directions included in the package, and it definitely worked. I have lots of healthy new growth on the water lettuce and water hiacynth, and the parrot feather has recovered and is doing better with a little bit of new growth. My frogs and tadpoles LOVE the plants, and they have made a world of difference in the health of my pond. UPDATE: Still happy! I have purchased this package three times (not all of my plants survive harsh winters), and I am satisfied every time. I have seen other reviews talking about the fact that the plants are small and there are only a few (what you get is exactly as the product is described, BTW). Trust me - they are more than enough! They will propagate quickly, and you will find yourself with more plants than you know what to do with. I end up giving away excess plants within a month or so. The plants always recover quickly (and they are shipped from coast to coast) and add a much-needed element to my pond ecosystem. Will buy again!

Will not reorder
I received my order in the mailbox on Saturday. Now, the good, the bad and the ugly. The water hyacinths were of acceptable size and condition. The water lettuces were in poor condition with brown leaves, and very few roots. I am not even sure they will survive. Now for the third items{something called marginals} I am not sure what they are. They were about 2.5 inches long, no roots and a few leaves at the top. These item were not worth the prices and I will not be placing any future orders.

Very healthy
Plants were packed well and very healthy. It’s been over a month and they are all still alive, doing well and multiplying nicely. I would definitely buy again.

They are a little small but healthy
I always buy floating plants for my pond. I have a giant water lily but then floating plants fill in to block the sun and eat up nutrients that fight algae. Compared to ones I have bought locally these come very small with little to no roots due to shipping. They do recover quickly and the roots come back and the parrot feather looks nice in the pond. The issue is with these being so small to start and the week or two needed to recover from shipping, I can already tell they are not going to divide and spread as quickly as the locally bought ones. This isn't a big deal except living in the northeast shortens the summer and these do much better in the heat. As a result, the are likely not going to cover the whole pond and bloom like the other ones do. If you live in the south where it stays warm longer these make total sense. You have the time for them to recover. Northern states should maybe look for something local because there just isn't time for them to recover and grow to the size they need to be to readily reproduce. The are healthy though after a month and are helping the pond so this was not a terrible purchase at all... I just wish they came a little bigger and ready to spread.

Three of the eleven plants look okay; the others look pretty bad
As soon as I got these plants, I put them in an aquarium with de-chlorinated water, a heater to keep the water at about 70-72 degrees, a grow light, and a small aerator. The grow light is on for 8 hours per day, and the plants then get filtered light for another 4 hours. I also gave them a little bit of pond fertilizer. The plants didn't look very good when I received them, but I was hopeful that they'd recover with the TLC I'm giving them. Unfortunately, the hyacinths and parrot feather haven't recovered at all. The water lettuce looks okay, but the other plants look quite rough. I am so disappointed with the hyacinth and parrot feather. I had such high hopes for them, but I think they'll soon just need to be trashed. I'm so sad because I was hoping that the plants would thrive indoors for the next few months before I'd be able to move them outside to my new garden pond. That isn't looking very probable at this point, though.

Great!!!
I purchased these for my tiny tadpole pond. When it arrived, there were three of each plant. Since then they have branched off and made little baby plants. The tadpoles are very happy eating from these plants and hiding beneath them. The mini pond is in part shade and part sun, and they’ve done very well reproducing and thriving in the small space. I was very impressed when they arrived because they looked good still even though being mailed. I was sure to get them in the pond on the day that they arrived in the mail after following the simple directions provided. The plants are growing and thriving, and I love the they are spreading.

From Bad To Worse (Updated 07-14-2020)
Plants did not look healthy upon arrival. Leaves and roots were falling off and have turned yellow. I was hoping they will improve, but it seems they’re just getting worse. The first four pictures were taken when they arrived. The last one is their current condition (after 1 week). I will revise the review if they miraculously survive. Update 07-14-2020: I am not too optimistic about my plants but I am impressed with Aqualife Aquatics’ customer service. I contacted them about the condition of my plants. Upon verifying the plants’ condition after a week by photos, they without any further questions, offered either a full refund or a shipment. That’s great customer relations! If only shipping doesn’t take too long, I will order again. I would consider buying any other products they offer just because of this experience.
