Large bag with flavorful and oily flakes as they should be. Very happy with purchase. This is an excellent pepper flake for all, but it's especially good if you have people who can't handle heat. Aleppo pepper has a sweet flavor with a pleasant heat that is tolerable for most. It's a good substitute for red pepper flakes if you cook for people who think those are hot. But, this is a pepper that stands on its own and can easily become one of your go to flavors.

First, I love the flavor Aleppo peppers add to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes and have been incorporating them into other recipes for that flavor. I tried a different brand in the past and was disappointed with the quality and flavor. I recently tried these and was pleasantly surprised. They are much more flavorful adding the taste I was looking for in my cooking.

I have always loved and purchased Aleppo pepper. It should not be too spicy and never has been. This product tastes great but is so spicy that no one but me can eat food with it. Others I have always purchased have been great flavor and I would use large amounts all the time but never spicy like this. It is very good but do not know why the heat level is so high. It did advertise as "HEAT" though

A Youtuber I follow (Rainbow Plant Life) recommended Aleppo pepper flakes for a next-level homemade chili crisp, and so I bought a bag to try it myself. I'm NEVER looking back! This pepper is vibrant, fresh, and has a fruity, almost citrusy spice profile to it. I've used it to make chili crisp and carrot ginger soup so far, but I'm looking forward to trying it in other dishes soon. Highly recommend!
