Adds a nice touch to wooden projects
Great product and easy to use. I have a laser engraver and I use this as a top coat for my wood projects. I use it alone sometimes and I also use it to seal in colors or stains depending on the project. The best part is that, at the time, it was substantially less expensive here that at ANY of my local box stores. Great product, great price and a very versatile clear coat.

Useless for the intended purpose
Applied on steel bar for rust protection very ugly hazy finish with air bubbles. Will not give you a clear coat look

Excellent Coverage & Durable Finish!
I’ve used Rust-Oleum Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover for multiple projects, and it’s fantastic! The semi-gloss clear finish adds a nice soft shine without being too glossy. It works on almost any surface—wood, metal, plastic, ceramic—and the coverage is impressive. One 12 oz can easily covers up to 12 sq. ft., and it dries to the touch in about 20 minutes, which makes projects quick and easy.
