This pregnancy has brought a lot of trouble with sleeping (new issue for me - 8th baby) and regular restless leg trouble, and though I still get RL, after taking this for 4 wks, it's very rare (there were periods where it was nightly) and it's never while I'm settling to go to sleep now so that's wonderful. I'm definitely sleeping soundly now and have FAR less headaches and no migraines as well - which had also become a real problem this pregnancy. Sleep quality has obviously improved. The difficulty in assessing this product's effectiveness is in my simultaneously using a Mg lotion, both started within days of one another. It's hard to tell how effective this has been for the main symptoms I've been trying to alleviate as well: pre-term contractions. I'm taking it along with a Mg cream and an herbal tincture to try to stop pre-term labor. Most Mg suppliers warn effects can take weeks to notice. I'd say if this supplement is helping limit contractions - which it may very well be - it took a few weeks to start. Honestly though, I can't tell what is doing what - but I'm certainly staying on this supplement to do all that I can to help. My contractions have backed off a bit, but I think it took a good 2 weeks to notice and this supplement was taken in conjunction with a topical Mg which is supposed to be the ideal absorption form. I chose this supplement specifically though as it looked like the best quality Mg for bioavailability. I normally use a different supplement co but their Mg contains the herb Ashwagandha (which is an abortifacient) so after some searching I found Smarter Nutrition and will continue looking at them for our families supplement needs as their standards seem to be of the caliber I expect, if I am to expect actual results. I am 72 years old and I’m tired of being in Pain all the time my whole body. I have AS,PsA,Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, plus Crohn’s disease. In the last 4 years I’ve had a Knee replacement surgery, then I had my Neck fused then Rotator Cuff surgery 2020. My Rheumatologist has tried me on 3 different kinds of Biologics. OMG what a difference it has made in my life I’m sleeping better, it has calmed me down and is gentle on my stomach without causing a laxative effect it is also easy to swallow... This past week I added Joint Food to my daily routine. Now this may sound hard to believe but I can actually move my shoulder better without as much pain, I’m walking better without stiffness and I wake up in the morning and I’m not stiff, swelling has gone and I’m more flexible., OMG.. This is it... I will not ever try another biologic.

The product is excellent nutrition. But I ordered and paid for 6 bottles. Package was delivered with only 3 bottles inside.

I purchased the smarter magnesium product on the claim for no laxative effect. However, this product does cause a laxative effect for me. I am unable to take the product on a daily basis due to the effect. The recommended dose is 3 softgel capsules, but I have the side effect with just one capsule. When I do take the product, I do feel like I sleep better. It was recommended to me by my physician to take magnesium for menopause symptoms which is why I have been trying different products. The softgel capsules are easy to swallow. I do not have any stomach irritation or any other issues besides the laxative effect.

Most people don't get enough magnesium in their diets. I found SmarterNutrition Marine-Derived Magnesium to be an excellent source and high quality supplement to add to my daily routine. My sleep quality and anxiety has improved significantly! I knew that I needed magnesium, but I didn't know that it would help me get the rest I so desperately need! I saw a Facebook ad offering to buy one bottle of magnesium and receive 2 free, at first I thought it could be a scan but asked some questions and researched a little and found it to be legit. I have 3 people in my home that have migraines on occasion and found magnesium works wonders! But not all magnesium supplements are equal! I bought my son naturemade magnesium when his Dr said it may help his post concussion migraines and it did nothing. A year later I find this and try it after the research and wow! It works! Easy to swallow and fast acting. I believe it absorbs Soo much better than other supplements we've tried! Most magnesium supplements are HUGE. This is slightly smaller. And the price is good.
