I have purchased New Life Spectrum 90g for years thru other sellers. Tried Versure seller for the first time. I asked a question about product and got immediate reply, so went ahead and ordered.This is the first time the NLS fish flakes actually came shrink wrapped sealed and great expiration date 7/2027! the longest out expiration I have received from other sellers and the first time shrink wrapped with product label andsealed. will do business again with VerSure seller for New Life Spectrum fish food. arrived safely next day in brown amazon bag packaging. ( I requested in amazon packaging during ordering). smooth transaction. highly recommend this seller. This is a true review from a long time purchaser of NLS fish flakes from other sellers. This seller and product packaging exceeded my expectations. I cannot comment on size of flakes inside at the moment since I will not be opening it for at least a week. In the past orders of the NLS flake 90g over the past 5 yrs were large (not multicolored like years ago). my fish love this food (silver dollars, dojo loach, bumblebee catfish, corydora catfish, bristlenose pleco eats too! Does not cloud water and does not have the many fillers or ethoxyquin found in other flake foods.

The first thing I noticed when I opened this fish food is that it didn't smell nearly as bad as the stuff I'd been getting for years.The second thing I noticed was that the flakes were ENORMOUS! They were the size of corn flakes cereal! One flake would have been as much as I give my tetras in a feeding.This is supposed to make the colors on my tetras brighter. I don't know that I'll notice, because surely any change will be so gradual that it will be undetectable, but the fish like the food and it's not much more expensive than the stuff I used to give them, so I'll probably keep buying it.

I ordered this after reading a lot of recommendations on aquarium and fish forums. I was using standard/midgrade flakes from pet stores for the first 2 weeks after getting my new fish. This arrived quickly and on time but the lid seal was almost all the way off. Not expired and I weighed the contents on a kitchen scale and it was all there. My fish LOVE it. With the other flakes they were enthusiastic but often spit out and refused to eat certain colored flakes. These they almost never spit out and they really seem to love. There are some really huge flakes on top (3x3cm in size or more but they easily crumble. Right now I have 5 dalmatian mollies, two juvenile dwarf gouramis and one opaline gourami. They all love this food. I alternate with Hikari blood worms, Omega One veggie rounds (Crushed), New Life Spectrum 1 mm sinking community freshwater pellets (have to crush as well), and peas or cucumber, and a day of fasting. Although I haven't been feeding it long and have a long while until the fish are adult and on the food long enough, it comes highly recommended for color enhancement as part of a varied and balanced diet. Will post updated pictures after 1-2 months.

Been using for a couple months now, fish love it and their colors have improved significantly and they are very bright and very active. Flake also keeps tank very clear, just be sure not to overfeed, I still like the pellets better of Community or Thera A Formula, but flakes are gladly accepted, better than any other food I have tried, even though Omega One is very good food and fish also love that too. The media could not be loaded.  90 Grams is ALOT of fish food. The container is tremendous, well a lot bigger than I expected. I have a mixed tropical tank with Cardinals, rummy nose, Glow Tetras and various others. The Glow tetras don't go as crazy for it as the others but they eat it. flakes are big and don't sink very fast. Only using it a few days so I'll update this review as needed down the road....UPDATE...been using this product for a month. Fish totally LOVE it. Tetras, neons, cardinals and fancy guppies can't get enough. The flakes don't leave a residue or film on water keeping things crystal clear. The ingredients are all natural and bring out the best in my Tropical buddies. Great product and worthy of the great reviews.

I used New Life Spectrum fish food for a couple of years until I noticed my fish didn't like the food in the new container. When I checked it out, giant squid was second in the ingredients list. I waited a year or two and checked to see if they'd gone back to their old formula. Yes! They had! But guess what, the container still had giant squid. The first four ingredients on the container are whole Antarctic Krill, Giant squid, Whole wheat flour, and Whole Menhaden fish. I had to get a magnifying glass to read the tiny font. Something about that squid... My fish don't like it.

Good quality flake food, my fish enjoy them (dwarf cichlids and rainbows) and New Life Spectrum is a good brand. My fish have been spoiled by frozen foods, yet they still eat these flakes, so that should say something. They are quite large, but they are easily broken down into smaller pieces just by pinching them in your palm.

Most fish seem to like it though my main tank the guys don't but I knew that anyways, it's slightly different than last time purchased the flakes are all one colour were as last tub the flakes where multi colour not sure if product has changed recently ? Arrived earlier than expected.

Les flocons sont fins et larges, tous de la même couleur ce qui — selon moi — semble plus naturel et sans coloration artificielle. Les flocons sentent bon et ils sont frais. J'apprécie qu'ils soient de grande taille. Je mélange ce produit avec d'autres sortes de nourriture sèche pour complémenter une belle variation d'ingrédients (carnivore, omnivore et herbivore). Tous mes poissons (eau douce et eau de mer) aiment cette nourriture. C'est un bon produit à la hauteur de ma satisfaction.

Bought this through several recommendations from Aquatic shops and enthusiasts. The fish took an instant liking to it, especially the Mollies.
