Fresh Tofu, Tofu Baked Lemon Pepper, 6 Ounce

My husband and I don't eat meat, so I'm constantly on the hunt for tasty and healthy meat alternatives. I read the reviews for this baked tofu, and when I tried it, and was very happy I got it! It has a slightly meaty consistency (like well-done cooked steak). The flavor tastes like a delicious marinade I used to make for grilled chicken (back when I was eating meat). It is a perfectly rounded blend of savory and tangy. It even tastes great straight from the package! I really think non-vegetarians would like it too.

I'm usually pretty hesitant about tofu, but based on the good reviews I decided to try this Fresh Tofu Lemon Pepper. I'm happy to say it's delicious! I'm a fan of firmer texture, which this is. Not mushy. Also, the flavor is great, not too salty but savory. I think my favorite way to eat it is just crumbled in a salad, although I like it right out of the package as a snack, too.

This is hands down the best flavored tofu I’ve tried — it’s extremely flavorful and delicious, while not having an outrageous amount of sodium. Love it!

Consistently so good! I’m a 15 year vegetarian and DO NOT like tofu, but love this product. (So does my meat eating hubby.) It’s very flavorful, and has a nice dense texture. Great chopped up in salads, or sliced on a sandwich. Even as a snack by itself, it’s really delicious and doesn’t have a ton of salt. I’ve literally driven 45min. out of way just to find the Whole Foods in my area that carries this lol. Would highly recommend!

Tasty pre cooked tofu perfect for when too busy to make your own.

I thought this had a really nice flavor but the texture was a little tougher than I like.

It’s just the best baked tofu ever. Doesn’t have that mushy texture like the leading supermarket brand. Very chewy, the way baked tofu should be. It’s also much fresher than the conventional-supermarket brand/s. Short expiry windows, which is great because the stores can’t keep them on the shelves too long. I find they last longer than those dates, which is, again, how a product should be. I get several packages at a time and freeze them, so I never run out!!
