Purchased heating pad for neck & upper shoulder pain. Unfortunately heating pad did not get warm in those areas even though it's advertised as a product for neck & shoulder pain. Moreover, at the highest setting of (9) I barely felt any warmth in the middle back area where the majority of heating coils are located. I asked another family member if they thought the pad was hot enough for pain relief and they also said it was not adequate. Conequently, I initiated a return because I suspected I received a defective unit. Lastly, as I was writing this review I noticed the seller answered another buyer about lack of heat in the neck and shoulder area. The seller said pad does not have any coils or heat in those areas. It dismayed me to read this, why would they promote this as a heating pad for the neck & shoulder pain when it does not heat up in those areas? Regardless, I still believe I received a defective pad because of the general lack of heat and have initiated a return through Amazon.Edit: After my review the seller changed the title of the listing and removed the reference to the neck.

Cons :Does NOT heat the neck and shouldersIf the attachment/power source comes undone on the unit, you have to unplug the unit, wait ten seconds, plug back in and restart. Otherwise it flashes F . I had to google problem solving to figure it out when it first happened.Pros:very long and extends past my waist(I am 5’5”)Heats up very nicely. This heating pad is soft and big. I bought two other heating pad before, but it's not as good as this one. This heating pad is velvet soft, and it have a snap button to keep it in place when using. It also heat up fast and evenly. The only downside is it doesn't really warm up at the neck area.I would recommend this heating pad if you have back pain or just want to keep yourself warm during cold winter nights.

I got this after reading the answers to the specific questions regarding whether the unit had heating elements in the neck and shoulders-- it does not. I am not sure why the questions were answered with yeses, when the product does not have these- it only has some noisy metal balls in the front flaps that don't seem to serve any purpose. The front flaps stayed cool even when I cranked the pad up to the highest setting. And at that highest setting, the pad was less hot than my cheapo little square one I had been using. I am very disappointed in the product in that it is not what is described by the seller at all when it comes to the neck and collar. The pad does get warm and has heating elements up the back and that's about it. If you are looking for heat therapy for the actual neck, the top of the shoulders, and/or the front of your shoulders, don't bother trying this one.

Despite what some people have claimed about this product, there are no heating elements in the neck portion of this blanket. It does virtually nothing for one’s neck. Otherwise a good product.

Purchased in December of 2019. It worked okay until about 3 weeks ago. Then it started turning off prematurely. At first it would restart when you unplugged it and then plugged it back in. It would work okay for about 2 days. Now, it works for 20 to 30 minutes and turns off. And, sometimes it won't restart for hours.It's past the return date, so I can't send it back....but I can warn you. At $39.99, I think it's fair to expect a reasonable life span. Looking to buy a different brand.

Product works just as described!!!! Warms up nice and hot that when you put it on it relaxes your whole body!!! What is alaso great about it is that it has multiple hot setting. Cable is the right lenth that you can sit comfortable in your couch while still being plugged in.

When pressing the power button the unit does not go on until a few minutes. Not sure if thats suppose happen.It’s soft and comfortable and the heat feels good. Just got diagnosised with lung cancer and have pain in back and front. I will try anything. Please say a pray for me, my names Lenny Blue. Thank you!
