The media could not be loaded.  This made my son’s 18th birthday an awesome one! Was easy to assemble. I made sure to put the box on top of the cake to outline where I was going to cut out the cake. Cut to the depth the instructions said, dropped it in then covered it with icing. Washed clean even with black icing all over it.

The media could not be loaded.  I had bought this for my dad’s 64th Birthday. Placing in the cake was easy. However putting the money in each individual pocket takes time and patience. Also re-rolling it back up once the money is placed in the pockets was a bit of a challenge. As you can see from the video I had put the roll in backwards and it came flapping out completely before being unrolled by my dad. Overall, I would purchase this again, and next time make sure I put the roll back in the correct direction.

The media could not be loaded.  It was super helpful to watch the video instructions! Make sure you follow the instructions & pay attention to detail. I went to the bank to get "NEW" one dollar bills which made it super easy to slip them in each open slot. I thought it was going to be difficult to roll it back up one the money was inside, but they tell you to start out with a pencil to roll it around and once you get it started you remove the pencil. This made it very easy. It was easy to put together & easy to put in the cake. I do wish there was different topper choices. After going to their website to watch the instructions, I saw that they do have other toppers to purchase but unfortunately I didn't have time to order before the party. But you can purchase them for different occasions & purchase a new roll of plastic sheets to reuse it. Everything worked perfectly & it was truly a lot of fun! It's great for anyone but especially for teens who are hard to buy gifts for. I would definitely use it again & I would definitely recommend to buy it!

My husband really got a kick out of this but the only thing that lost stars is I had no clue how to put this together even reading the instructions I had to look on YouTube and find a video that made it make sense. It's relatively easy but I'm a visual person and the instructions just aren't clear that come with it that's the only thing. Also you have to be careful how far you put it down I made a cake homemade and I had so much icing I guess it was too heavy and made the clip open before it could pull the money out so it almost ruined the surprise. I recovered quickly and said we'll eat cake after dinner and I had to wait for my husband to leave the room and we came back from dinner so I could dig the box out and reset the clip but then when he pulled it out at work.

The Money Cake worked great. I used this for my Mother in laws 80th Birthday Cake. I placed a combination of $80 dollars and lottery tickets inside the sleeve pockets. Here are a couple of Tips - I only used 2 actual lottery tickets. For the other lottery tickets I placed a note on notebook paper (cut to fit inside the pocket) and wrote $2 Lottery Ticket and a comment like "hit the jackpot" in place of the real lottery ticket. This kept the money roll from getting too large and also some of the lottery tickets were too wide to fit anyway. We also wrote personal notes on notebook paper, again cut to fit inside the pocket. These notes were from family members with special Birthday wishes on it. Of course we gave the real lottery tickets to go with the handwritten notes after the money roll surprise was done. Get creative on your money roll sleeve pockets. As long as you keep the slip of paper thin like money there are many possibilities.

My thirteen year old son LOVED it. I forgot to put it in the cake (my toddler distracted me and I iced the cake as usual), so I put it in gift bag that was taped shut with a slit open for the tag and money to come out. His eyes and smile got so big as he pulled it out and kept pulling and pulling. It was great and the box and money bag didn’t get all dirty so we can re-use both. We also cut the 50 bill holder into 20 and 30 bill holders. 30 bills was still a LOT and plenty of excitement and time spent pulling out. We did 5 $5’s and 25 $1’s , a $5 followed by 5 $1’s and kept that pattern.
