Can this funnel be used to fill a car’s gas tank?

Dear Bill Byrnes, Thank you for your inquiry. These funnels are not recommended for use with fuels. They are meant to be used with automotive fluids like oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, etc. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call our Tech Support Team at 1-800-835-0129 Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Central Time. Thank you. Have a wonderful day!

What is the outside diameter of the tip?

It’s 5/8” outside diameter.

Good for small trans filler?

Probably. If the trans inlet tube is vertical and standard sized, as on most small engines, you should have no issues.

What is the max OD of the funnel discharge tip? Thank you,

9/16” as delivered. If you cut funnel shorter it can grow up to 2”
