These valves fail unexpectly
In theory, this idea is great. These worked great for some weeks to months and then all 6 I purchased failed one by one. They were replaced by DIG and those failed, one by one. It seems that a film forms between the battery and the battery contacts causing the unit to lose power and therefore disappear from the bluetooth screen and the manual button won't work either. I run a vineyard. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that my vineyard block had not been watered! Buy them but don't count on them continuing to work. Check to be sure they have opened the valve-- every time.
