My paper came in this morning. Why is it 17.75 inches and not 18, which is what I ordered?

Mine is a bit short of 18 also but works for me. There is a 17.5 option on the order page.

After 1 double wrapped brisket the OD is 3- 3/8". The interior diameter is 1 " tight for a hanging rod. Hope this answer helps. Did not measure before 1st use but 3 1/2" on a fresh roll would be a generous measurement. This paper works well, just make sure you mist it to make it more pliable for the wrap. This paper is a great deal as it has absolutely no advertisement printed on it and works just as well as any other brand at twice the price.
