My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter never really cared about stringing the wooden beads my daughter-in-law suggested I buy for her. I saw these wooden stringing animals and fruits and vegetables so I bought them for my granddaughter since she loves anything to do with animals and fruits and vegetables and little people. As soon as she saw them she started doing them and it didn’t take long for her to Learn how to string these wooden animals and fruits and vegetables with the wonderful wood thread stick that is included. She is not one to have a long attention span but she definitely did all three strings. I tied them up and three more times during the day she asked, Again? I think I want to buy another set or two or three. They are the best most interesting and fun for my granddaughter In the area of beading wooden things I have found!

My kids (2-5) love this activity. The pieces are good quality but a couple of our strings broke after several uses.

These beads are great for fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Each wooden bead is an interesting little animal or piece of fruit or something. It comes with three strings each with about a three inch wooden threader on the end that makes putting the beads on easier for little hands. My 3 1/2 year old loves this but it is a bit too hard for my 18 month old to manage just yet.

We purchased this for our 19 month old granddaughter. YES, it needs to be supervised at this age as the pieces will fit in a toddler's mouth. Wood "needles" are like a short bamboo knitting needle with the point cut off a bit. Also received the shoelace style set as a gift. She is much more successful with the wood needles and asks for them every day. These seem well made with cute art work. I think this set will hold her interest for a long time. It's also more fun for me to think of new ways to sort the objects while working on language development.

My students have been loving it. It’s colorful, the size is perfect for them to “play” with, at it’s easy to use. If I could say something that would make it easier on teachers to use is: it would be cool it the rope had an “end” so I wouldn’t have to be making knots on the rope. Other than that, it’s great!

Nice beading toy. I am always looking for toys that work well for my nonverbal child with autism. Few toys keep her attention. Beads are always good. The beads are large and work well for her

This is great but it is missing the letter O which is disappointing.
