I find these more suitable for cycling than lifting. On the positive- they fit nicely, easy to wash and have thick padding. But I found them a bit uncomfortable when gripping heavy weights- see picture. The gap between the two paddings means that a heavy bar presses hard against palm of your hand. This is fine if you are used to lifting with your plain hands, but uncomfortable if you are used to good gloves.

I give it 3 stars because they run small I got and extra large for my son they are too tight but that's the largest they had.
