I like it. Have used or worked on many laptops over the years. This one is very light weight and is plenty fast for what I'm doing. The full HD screen is great and really beats the 720p screens on other ideapad 3's. Seen lots of comments about a dim screen. Just go to display properties and turn up the brightness. By default it's set about half way. It will serve its purpose!

It came packaged well. Started up well with user friendly prompts. It says it is S mode but mine wasn’t. It also comes with directions to switch off the S mode. Only thing I wish it had was a touch screen but wasn’t a deal breaker and glad I purchased

If you planned to buy a cheap, $300 laptop and then upgrade it with better ram and memory... then this beat you to it. From what I can discern, the seller appears to have bought a budget lap top and then put in new parts. They also seemed to have dedicated a fair bit of the memory to dedicated video memory (which is one thing I've seen suggested to do with your laptop if you can't get a better video card, which might not be replaceable in a laptop like this).This product does seem to suffer from a weird problem with computer numbers- the same "gigabyte" can mean different numbers depending on what kind of counting system you are working with. As a result of this, a "1 tb memory" might have "930 gb" of space. Similar issues are present with the RAM, but some of that loss might be due to tweaks like mentioned above. However, I aimed high when I bought this, and it went down to roughly where I needed it.I do not expect this to be amazing, but it seems like it would have decent basic function. Expect issues if you try to do trouble shooting with the manufacturer, since it is not factory standard. But this is not an esoteric problem if you take it to a computer repair store, since many people modify their computers.Sound is a problem with the base computer it seems. It is rather low, and you will get the best results if you are the type that lays down on a couch with a computer on them. Otherwise, pick a quiet place.

So far it works great. I don’t use it very often but even after 2 weeks of sitting on the counter there is still battery left. Starts up fast and is very responsive. Seems like a great deal for the money.

Really fast machine. Works reliabily, feels sollid and well-made. Battery life isn't great, 3-4 hours working, but charges fast, downloads fast, updates fast. No problems running multiple large apps. Happy customer.

Fast for processing applications and that what I needed however battery last like 2 hour or so not too long despite what it says on the life of the battery.

Love the slim slick design. Super light. Its extremely fast. Easy set up. Battery life could be better but overall extremely satisfied.

For the price it’s really good! It’s very light and such a simple laptop. Perfect for everyday use. If you’re in college, I would def recommended since it’s very convenient to bring around since it’s very light. The only downside is that the speakers are UNDERNEATH the laptop. I didn’t notice until I used the laptop for a few days. I often use my laptop in bed so when I’m laying I have the laptop propped against my legs so im covering the speakers. The speakers are on the side where your arms is typically placed when typing so I feel like that blocks the sound coming out . Otherwise I do like the laptop.
