Has a smoky slightly sweet burnt taste, I like it, but people taste different

Tried this drink and it tastes and smells awful don’t waste your money had a sip straight and with coke tastes rank poured it down the sink full of chemicals smells of cleaning fluid.

Bought it as a rum substitute. You can certainly taste vanilla and some spices however it’s quite weak, would be useless as a rum and Coke because you wouldn’t be able to taste it. Won’t be buying again.

Bought this for a mate and this is their feedback - bloomin gorgeous. Well packed, to the extent it could have been delivered from a plane at 30,000 feet and still survived.Flavour - genuinely had that warming you get from actual spirit. Worked well in cocktails. Was consumed in all-too-short a time.The one thing of course I'd point out ... it's bloody expensive for something that is not alcoholic and so does not incur duty. Feel we're all having our leg lifted here.

I'm sorry but it's disgusting, I read many mixed reviews, and believing the people who said they couldn't understand the bad reviews. But for my wife (who does not drink alcohol) and I, we thought it was like drinking syrup. Does not taste like rum at all. If you like really sweet drinks then you may like this. But if you like dark rum it's nothing like it at all.Disappointed I spent so much money on something (as a Christmas present) that's only going to be poured down the drain.....

I think this is amazing!! I adore the taste of rum but stopped drinking alcohol nearly 9 yrs ago. I have so missed the taste. It tastes just like i remember and smells identical to real rum. It even warms your throat and chest. Well done Lyres!!! Very expensive but worth it for an occasional treat!

Habe mich schon durch einige alkoholfreie Rums durchprobiert und dieser ist mit Abstand der Beste. Aber natürlich nur zum Mixen. Warum sollte man alkoholfreien Rum auch pur trinken?!Ich verwende den Dark Cane Spirit um meine Lieblingscocktails weniger alkohollastig oder auch ganz ohne genießen zu können und sie schmecken super! Klare Kaufempfehlung!(Und ich schreibe diese Rezension explizit wegen der vielen negativen Bewertungen, welche ich persönlich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen kann. Ich möchte damit einem tollen Produkt zu einem besseren Ruf verhelfen. Der Preis ist allerdings tatsächlich nicht ohne. ;-))

Empecé a buscar opciones de bebidas 0% alcohol para poder tomar combinados bajos en calorías en casa, y de todas las bebidas que he comprado, esta es la que menos sabe a lo que se supone que imitan.Para tomarlo sólo no vale; el sabor es terrible. Sin embargo mejora algo al mezclarlo con cola o Seven up. No creo que vuelva a comprarlo.

Un peu déçu qu'elle n'arrive pas dans sa boîte comme les deux précédentes bouteilles mais elle était emballée avec soin.Pour le goût, on est très proche des rhums bruns épicés avec un goût si prononcé qu'on pourrait le confondre avec un rhum classique sucré.
