Why did I wait this long to buy one
Let me say that this thing is awesome! So far I have divided nuts up, saved some Christmas Ham to eat later, sealed up frozen biscuits and all of our open fries that were taking up so much space. Prior to Christmas we started to buy a cheese tray but the store wanted $30 for it. Instead we spend half that and I cubed up Cheddar, Jalapeño, and Monterrey Jack along with Summer and Beef sausage! Then placed it on a plastic tray and vacuum sealed it until Christmas. The only suggest I would have is soft cheese will form back into one lol! Buy it! Looking forward to doing bulk meats and veggies from the garden. Will be good to marinate steaks and chicken as well!Update. I need to lose about 60lbs and one of the biggest issues is meals. Being on call 24/7 7 days a week makes it easy to grab fast food which is 90% bread. I decided to cook sausage in bulk to eat with oats and sausage biscuits for the wife as a quick grab on days she's running late. Looking forward to more quick grab breakfast and lunch items to keep me away from carb overload.

Great product.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I always buy bulk cheese but by the time I finish half of the bag rest gets spoiled. I though of try vacuum sealer to keep the food long time by sealing it and found this one. This one is light weighted and worked as advertised. Suction power is good for sealing the food. It has multiple options of wet/Dry seal, normal/soft vacuum and seal without vacuum. It has option of external suction which can be used for vacuum storage cans. It is easy to use and works great. Overall great buy.

Ideal!
This vacuum sealer is very ideal. It has a bag cutter and an automatic vacuum seal which makes it way more easy to use. I love using this to store food, both moist and dry. This helps keep my food fresh longer and also use less storage space in the fridge. I can use this to store meat, veggies, fruits, and prepared food.

Works Great!!!!
This is our first Vacuum sealer and we love it. The directions were a little confusing. Once I took some time to look over the sealer, I was able to figure it out. Now that I know where everything goes and what the buttons are used for, I have no problems with it. It sucks the air out all around the food and it stays out. It's very easy to seal the bags. The suction is powerful. It only takes a couple of sections to get all the air out of the bag. We also love the plastic roll holder. You just roll the plastic off the roll and cut it the size you want the bag. You just close the blade over top of the plastic and the extremely sharp cutter cuts through the bag like a hot knife going through butter. Just lay one end over the heating element and close the lid tight, hit seal only button and it seals one end to make your bag. Add your food and set it on the element, close the lid and choose the button you want to use. You can select vacuum and seal, dry product seal, wet product seal and other options. We plan on getting lots of use from this sealer. It's a great product for a great price. It also comes with a detachable hose to use to seal vacuum storage containers. It has everything we need to start saving money with less wasted food. I would definitely recommend this sealer to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Works great and super easy to use!
I am very impressed with the quality and added features like cutter, roll holder and the different options of vacuum pressure. A very nice and compact design, super easy to use and nice a quiet. My first thing I used it for was a nice big ribeye steak, as you can see it worked great.

There is a learning curve...
I'm glad I got this. Many many years ago I had a seal-a-meal that sealed food, but had no suction. This has both and I foresee it being used mostly for separating meat into meal size portions when I do my grocery shopping. For that, I think this will be a great product.I have used it already to seal a couple frozen chicken parts that were in a loose bag and getting frosty. It took me a minute to figure it out, as directions are not quite complete. When you press the lid closed it latches. Then you need a much harder press at both front corners to actually LOCK for suction. Took me a few tries, and I thought I had a bad unit until I returned to prior review questions and realized I needed to give it more muscle to close tightly. I also had bag position slip once, where my bag length was a tad short and the machine did not suction. Remedied that by putting a spoon holder in front to lift my bag off the counter, which allowed the end to adequately reach the suction area.Next was a soft seal on some bran muffins. That also required a trip back to Amazon Q&A. Directions don't explain that you start soft seal and then have to press stop when it's suctioned enough for your item. Then you press seal. My first 3 muffins were pretty squished, but I opened the bag and re-sealed it shortly after I had the 411 on how I should have done it.Then I did raisins. I had bought a large 4 cup container to use 1 cup in my muffins. So I made 3 bags and split the rest of the raisins into 3 sealed portions so they stay fresh. Finally, I sealed the original bran cereal bag (no suction used). That didn't work so well since the seal was too hot for the bag and cut through at one end losing the seal there. I could have let the machine cool longer and re-tried, but instead I put the cereal in a large sealer bag and did a soft seal, pulling some air out for better storage. I'll try other bags like chips and Cheetos as I have them. Hopefully it'll work next time.I have not yet tried anything 'liquid' wet (like chili or spaghetti sauce). If I decide to try such things, I expect I will freeze in a ziplock first as I read somewhere, then put in a larger bag for sealing.Between chicken and raisins I used over half of the narrow starter roll of bags, so be sure you order bags. I had ordered a wider 11" roll when I ordered the machine, and used that one to do 3 sets of 3 muffins and the bran cereal. I don't expect i'll need 11" wide as much as smaller rolls, so will order an 8" roll now so it's here when I need it. Bags are probably going to go faster than I expect as I find more stuff to seal.Be sure to check measurements. I always do, but am often surprised that my tape measure estimate of the intangible object doesn't always translate to the item I receive. That's my perception error...not an error in website measurements. This sealer is not a small footprint, especially with a roll of plastic bags at the back. It's not unnaturally large, but it is larger than I want to have taking up space on my kitchen counter. I have it sitting on top of my toaster oven for now.I did a lot of comparison before selecting this particular product. I liked that it locks closed and has a bag roll holder. I also like the built in bag roll cutter in the top, and the removable drip tray at the bottom of the suction compartment. However, I am not sure I would have paid full price. The seller offered a $20 discount which sealed the deal for me (pun intended) since it brought it down into the price range I wanted. With the discount, I expect I'm going to love this food saver over time.

I Really Like My New Machine
I had recently returned a vacuum sealer that I had bought from Amazon.com due to the fact that the machine had a poor suction. I saw vacuum sealer at a price that is affordable and with good ratings. I must admit that I had to read the booklet in order to have a good suction and sealant. It was worth it and I have been using it a lot in the past few days. This is my first purchase of a vacuum sealer and I am happy with it.Just a quick helpful tip: label your sealant bag (what it is and date) before using the vacuum machine; it makes it easier to see what the item is when placed in the freezer.

Perfecta! Incluso para regalar
Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

Much better than some alternatives
I tried a cheaper vacuum sealer that wasn't easy to use and had no power, and returned it. This one was a bit more expensive but well worth it for the extra features.1. Built in roll holder and cutter2. Wet and dry settings3. Soft or strong vacuum settings4. Came with sample rollsBE SURE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTIONS.This vacuum sealer like most others has a duty cycle. Also respect that liquid items should be frozen first before sealing. Very good for sous-vide and freezing. Also in order to get a good seal, the bag you cut will have to be a few inches bigger than you think, especially for thicker items. The opening has to lie flat on the machine sufficiently inside the vacuum stage or else it won't seal.
