I usually use 91% rubbing alcohol for my extension remover but decided to give this a try and I can honestly say it’s worth the price. Some pros and cons of both below Rubbing alcohol pros- No sticky residue, works fairly quickly Cons- can take a while to really get in between the bond and dries out your hair and can make extensions tangle Kizzy remover Pros- fastest remover I’ve ever used, *MUST FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS TO WORK* take a thin comb and slide between your extension bond, with comb in between spray a few times and remove comb. Spray 1-3 more times and use fingers to rub in between bond and it will completely release. I use 3 packs of tape ins for my hair and half a bottle removed all of them! Cons- mine did not “slide off” just separated but I wouldn’t consider that a “con” just inconvenient. Made my hands and extensions VERY sticky/tacky , I ended up using rubbing alcohol to keep my hands from being sticky to make removing easier. Overall pros out weigh the cons and I would suggest. Removed all extensions in about an hour. Tip of advice, do NOT spray multiple bonds and “let sink in” it is fast acting and will quickly loose ability to loosen bond. Work ONE at a time!

Best tape in remover as a professional! This makes my touchup appointments so much easier! I can easily remove my clients tape ins and prep them with no wash needed in between because it’s alcohol and not oil based.

So so impressed. I first tried the goo goo remover, absolutely trash. This product removed the tapeins so quickly, no mess and no damage to my hair.

This product has a very strong smell, but it works so well. I’ve tried a few different brands of removers, I’ve been doing my own tape in extensions at home for over a year now. Been through all the different types of tapes & removers and this remover has gotten the most stickiness off my hair. And I only used step 1, I can only imagine how much better it works if I followed up with step 2. (I used a clarifying shampoo after instead and it got the leftover residue out, but a very minimal amount was leftover. ) it’s a little more pricey than the others I’ve tried but the bottle is bigger & it works way better. I’d advise to get the step 1 & 2 set if you’re considering it.

have no idea how this product has any positive reviews. This was by far the worst tape extension removal experience I’ve ever had. The tape became completely stuck in my hair and would not come out, no matter how much remover I used. It ended up pulling out a lot of my hair, which was incredibly frustrating. I would never buy this product again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they want to risk damaging or losing their hair.

Doesn’t work

I attempted to install my own extensions (bad idea). This stuff saved my head. I sprayed this on and within 30 seconds the extensions were sliding off my hair with almost no damage whatsoever. It was so satisfying to watch the extensions fall off. I didn’t necessarily install my extensions completely wrong, but I needed double the volume I purchased and had to take them out to order more so I didn’t look crazy. The smell didn’t bother me, it smells like rosemary and rubbing alcohol. Honestly it could have smelled like nair and I would have still blasted it on those extensions. You definitely get a lot for the bottle. It takes about 2-3 sprays to saturate one tape in.

It removed a wrongly placed extension that was brand new, in seconds, without loosening the others. It worked very fast, didn’t lose any hair. Smells ok, great product!

Works great! I use my tail comb to pull the tape apart a little bit, spray this directly onto that spot. Rub the tape together and it slowly starts to separate. A few more sprays and it’s out no problem. I didn’t buy the step two for this product combo, and I was still able to comb out the tape residue on my hair by just using this spray. Highly recommend.

Sure this stuff removes extensions quickly but that time you save getting them out - you make up for ten fold with the mess this leaves everywhere. On the extension hair and tabs, on your own hair, on your hands and everything you touch. My extension hair is not ruined because I can not get the stick off of either side of the tabs. This product dissolves the adhesive in a way that makes it stick to everything and it’s not possible to remove. Now I have to go buy new hair solely because of this disaster. I’ve used other removers many times before that have left no mess and are easy to clean off. Stay away from this product, positive reviews must be paid or something.

I’ve had tape in extensions for eight years now. Used all kinds of remover. This stuff is excellent!! Product smell smells great and quickly and easily releases the extension without tape residue stuck in your hair. It cut my removal time down to less than 15 minutes for my whole head with no tape residue stuck in it
