I tried to cover most of the pros/cons of this tablet - and overall I'm happy with the purchase.
The RCA Delta Pro isn’t what you would expect for the name that it’s been given. However, with that said, it is a much higher performing tablet/laptop than what you may expect from RCA.There are pros and cons just like with any other tablet or laptop. The keyboard is of higher quality and function than what was on my RCA Viking Pro. Part of that is because the Delta Pro is slightly larger, so the keyboard is also slightly larger and more comfortable to use.The touch pad is also better, having the left/right buttons under the pad like a normal laptop. The bracket that holds the tablet is also improved over what was on the Viking Pro. The only drawback that I’ve found is that the tablet when inserted into the keyboard doesn’t fold back as far as I would prefer. It’s a minor issue, but would be something I would like to see RCA address. The tablet itself still uses a plastic case, something I wish they would change. It feels a bit cheap, but in reality it’s also what keeps the cost of the Delta Pro low.The tablet has only one speaker, a disappointment and the audio quality isn’t very good either. I’m not overly concerned about the low quality speaker. I use a Bluetooth headset which works well with the Delta Pro. There also is a standard mic/headset jack on the tablet if needed. As some have posted, the screen that is described as vivid and sharp really isn’t all that great. Can movies and such be watched on it – certainly. It’s not a bad screen at all, it’s just not as good as one would hope. With that said, I’m writing this review in Microsoft Word for Android and the display for typing this review is very good to excellent. I’m actually very pleased with how well this little inexpensive tablet is working. The added memory (32gig SD) can be used to extend the tablet from 32gig to 64gig or can be used separately as 32gig of external storage. I’ve configured it to extend my Delta Pro to 64gig – and it’s working great. The power button has been enlarged over the one on my Viking Pro, so finding it on the side of the tablet is easier.I haven’t used the two USB ports but expect for charging, but expect they’ll work as most USB ports do.One thing I miss that my Viking Pro had is an HDMI port – there isn’t one on the Delta Pro. That’s kind of a bummer as I did use the HDMI port on my Viking Pro, and would expect a “Pro” device to have some way to port the video externally. It is possible that a USB to VGA/DFI/HDMI device might work to accomplish this, but I haven’t tried yet.The Delta Pro comes with some installed apps (mostly Google) and includes the manuals in PDF form for the tablet.I’ve not had any issues with the Bluetooth or WiFi. The Wifi connected up very quickly to my home wireless network.Configuring the tablets other settings went smooth. Typical Android, very easy to use.I’ve installed most of the applications I have on my Android phone and what were on the Viking Pro. For the most part they look well. Some apps aren’t compatible with the version difference between my the Viking Pro and Delta Pro, but nothing that is of major issue for me – your results may be different. The battery drain is a bit more than I had expected, but since I go pretty much everywhere with an external power supply, this isn’t an issue. Just be aware you can’t use this tablet all day without connecting it up to external power. Speaking of that, there was a note in the packaging that said not ot use the tablet while connected to external power. This is sort of strange to me. I’ve always used my tablets, phones, laptops and such on external power. The only thing I can come up with is that having a tablet (docked in the keyboard or not) connected to a power cable can be dangerous. The USB port or DC input from the stock supplied power supply can be easily broken by having the external power connected. The only other possibility is that use of external power while using the tablet and it charging the battery may overload/heat the internal circuitry. I don’t believe this last possibility to be an issue, but it is a possibility.I’ll say again that I’m really enjoying typing up this review using Word on this Delta Pro. I’m also using an Android app that simulates Windows 10, and with the really good performance of the Delta Pro and the look and feel of Windows 10 – I’m really enjoying this tablet. For the price and function, it’s absolutely great for the average user. Email use, typing up documents, using Excel and browsing the Internet is simply awesome. Would I use this for work? Most likely no I wouldn’t use it for work, it’s just not that powerful. I’ve used the Delta Pro in tablet mode, disconnected from the keyboard and found it to be very responsive and easier, more comfortable to use than my Viking Pro. The slightly larger display and size is simply better for me. I also wouldn’t use this if I was trying to play fast paced games. It’s once again just not that powerful. Over all, for the price it’s simply a very good to great tablet/laptop replacement for most average users.

Great Tablet for the Price
Great tablet. My last daily use tablet was the older model RCA with detachable keyboard. After about 3 years, it slowed down just like any other electronic. It still worked fine (just slower) and that's what went into my decision to stick with the RCA brand tablet. This newer model is a couple inches bigger. Took me a day to get used to but I love the large screen. When attached to the near future size keyboard it acts like a tablet. And I love to use the keyboard for writing long emails, memos, etc... It's better than using the touch keyboard that takes forever to type something other than a text message. The operating system runs great. No problems at all playing the newest games and apps from the Google without any issues. Touch screen works great, and the tablet offers many settings to make it suit your needs. I'm very happy with the way the tablet runs. And if it runs this great for 3 years like my last RCA, I'll be even happier. My dislikes are the battery life. It's really not that bad, but compared to other tablets it lacks. I'm only talking 1/2 hr-1hr shorter than expensive brands, not bad at all. Also I really miss the mini HDMI out in case your tv or whatever doesn't have a "cast" "mirror" option. My last RCA tablet had one and it was a great option that put them ahead of the competition.I highly recommend this tablet for the price. I feel it's the best budget tablet out there. As long as the tablet keeps working this good I'll probably purchase a new model a couple years from nowI don't know why people would pay over $500 for a apple, samsung, etc... If one of those break, the repair cost is more than the price of a new RCA that works just as well and had the same options and accessories. Thanks,Joseph P

RCA Doesn't Fail To Disappoint
The media could not be loaded. Update: Battery life is disappointing, it can have 3 hours of on screen time with normal use. 4 hours exactly from the video test(which is where i play a continuous video until the battery dies from 100%). I normally had the brightness at 50-60% brightness. this may not be enough to last the whole day.Checking out an RCA tablet after a few years I would think there would be some noticeable improvements, not really the case here. I cannot believe that this still has a low resolution TFT screen! a TFT screen is when you view the tablet at a certain angle the screen pixels look burned and tilting it the other way makes it look too white. This is noticeable when using the 2-in-1 in tablet mode or if you're viewing the screen at a lower angle from your eyes. There was about a 1 second delay when typing fast, there weren't too many issues besides that here. The keyboard has some good feedback and feels like the size of a regular laptop which is good. The track pack isn't so great, it feels a litte tedious to use being so small.Performance was average overall, you can browse the web, expect some slight lags here and there, but it doesn't frequently crash or anything compared to tablets and 2-in-1's from years ago. IT can play some games at lowest setting but there is a better tablet around this range, check out the ONN 10 tablet which should perform better.

Very large screen but slow processor.
I purchased this solely because of the large screen. I wanted something to keep my sheet music on while being able to see an entire page and still read it. It works great for that. The two downsides are it uses power while in sleep mode. More than I think it should. I avoid power problems by powering it off. Second, it is slow to process and access the internet. I knew this going in and it is not a problem because I did not buy it for that. I still like the device and love the large screen.

Useless. Google Crashes. Not usable.
Honestly I had high hopes for something simple like this with a latest version of Android 9 as promoted... I wasn't looking to play games or do heavy work I just wanted to use it for a word processor such as Google docs, keep notes and Microsoft word. Apparently that is too much to ask for this product I recieved as right after first bootup during setup it kept popping up an app has crashed. In this case Google photos. After setting up finally and much hassle... It is with great sadness I am returning my product because it is unbearable. Google keeps crashing. The popup says Google keeps crashing. No Play store lasts for more than 10 seconds; can't search... When I had Microsoft word launched it hard crashes the app and all firmware is up to date android is up to date; and yet after 3 factory resets and trying to solve this it is defected I think.Truly disheartening as I wanted a portable tablet with a keyboard for word processing but maybe and hopefully it was just me who got a bad unit.

Surprisingly good quality for the price!
Don't expect a slim design like an iPad. The construction of the additional keypad for this Tablet is durable metal rather than plastic. I like the fact there are several options where you can use the keypad, or not, or use the key pad as a stand for the Tablet. Note that a wireless mouse will also work with this Tablet. Now that I have no need to use a Windows platform anymore, I chose this to replace an aging laptop and it's exactly what I was looking for.

Good for the price.
It was a great device for the price of you are looking for a affordable alternative to an iPad. The screen resolution was low and the processing speed was slow. That is to be expected st this price point. The camera was very low quality. We returned the item mainly for this reason as it was lower resolution expected not sufficient for google classroom

Good
Defintely serves its purpose. It's used mostly for banking, checking email, and some Word work in this household. Photo/video/sound quality is in line with the price. Good solid keyboard - which I like and was a big reason for purchase. Tablet is not as sleek or lightweight as most.If you are looking to purchase this tablet to use more as a small laptop this is the way to go at a decent price point.
