Armitron Sport Men's 40/8284 Digital Chronograph Watch

This is a great watch, especially at this price point. I bought this to wear around the house doing yard work and for when we go on bike rides. I wanted something inexpensive, lightweight, digital, with a 24-hour clock, and backlit. I bought the black version 40/8284BLK...The background is black you can't read the numbers in daylight outside or inside even while pushing the light button, at night in pitch darkness while holding the light button it's kinda readable. I took a picture of it next to my old one to see the difference, I even put a new battery in, it still the same.

My teen just broke his watch that he’s been wearing everyday for 2 years. He loves digital black watches and isn’t a big “brand” person for them. So after reviewing some watches, I was really impressed with the Armitron Red & Black Men’s Sports Watch. The pop of red color is really attractive. It looks just like the online images. I like the various circles and the timer/ alarm on the watch. It feels very comfortable. I did not completely unwrap it, as it’s a Christmas gift. But I’m really excited..

It's BIG!! But very cool!!My first reaction when I got my blue watch was, "My goodness, it's HUGE!" But when I put it on my wrist, it really does look awesome! I like the large digital display. I had gained some weight and my Armitron Sport Women's 45/7034 Digital Chronograph Resin Strap Watch was getting too tight on my wrist. So I decided I'd get a men's watch with a longer wristband. Every watch I liked seemed to be super sized but in reading the reviews, I found that large watches are the style now. So I ordered one. My women's Armitron is like a fourth of the size of this watch! I like both. When my wrist shrinks, I'll probably wear it again. The watches couldn't be more different! However, I like this one so well that I may buy another one or two in red and green to match my normally casual dressing style of t-shirts and cargo shorts. It will be interesting to see what my more conventional friends think of my new watch! I guess I'll be quite "in" with the younger set. After all I'm 66 years old! I noticed in other reviews that some people don't get a copy of the instructions. While I did receive instructions for all watch functions, there are other websites that do provide the instructions for this model. You just have to look.

First of all, I would like to say that this the best watch I've had in this price range. It is very appealing and comes with all features you would expect from a sports watch. The build quality is very sturdy and not cheap in the slightest way.The packaging the watch came arrived in good shape and was wrapped around the display stand. There were no instructions included but you can figure most of the functions by fiddling around with the watch for a couple minutes. The watch arrived much earlier then I expected, only took 3 days for the package to arrive in my mailbox after I ordered it. (I chose standard shipping, but it was most likely delivered so fast because I live close to the shipping carrier)This watch has amazing functionality and the buttons are responsive to the touch. Sometimes it's a little too sensitive and I accidentally press it, but this is a very minor nit pick as it rarely happens to me. The features include a stop watch, date/days of the week, backlit display, and water resistance up to 330 ft.The red color encompassed around the watch and buttons is very vivid and will definitely catch your attention when you glace over it. The wrist straps felt a little bit flimsy but that was most likely due to how ginormous this watch is! The size of this watch is massive and covers my entire wrist. I actually like that as I can easily see the numbers on the screen. I love wearing this watch while jogging as I can accurately tell the time. It also makes a great compliment for swimming as I regularly use it in the pool since it is water resistant. The style of the watch also gives it that cool sleek look that will look great when you wear it in public. If I didn't know any better, I would of that this was an expensive watch that would of cost at least $100. That's how you know a watch is of superior quality when it deceives you like that.Even though this may be considered as a "cheap" watch, do not correlate that to an inferior knock-off product. This is one of the best bang for your buck sports watches you can get for the price and you will regret not buying this great watch!TL;DR [Buy this watch, it is a fantastic sports watch that has style, functionality, and durability]

Literally, I laughed when I pulled this out of the box. This is seriously the cheapest manufactured watch that I've ever held in my hand. it seems to weigh about the same as a pencil. The ONLY reason why I'm not sending it back is because, the same same day as when I received it, my wife came home and told me her work watch broke. She's an industrial welder and buys cheap watches to wear because they will not last long. She typically buys Dollarstore watches for $10 but I figured, I had a cheap, crappy watch in my hand that I don't care if it breaks, so, might as well wear it. This laughable watch went on sale during the Prime Days event. I paid around 20 bucks.Unless you're looking for an incredibly cheap watch ... don't waste your time and money on this one.

A pesar de algunos malos comentarios sobre este reloj, ya estaba dudando de su calidad, pero cuando ya los tuve en mis manos (pedí dos) la verdad que son originales y no clones, están de excelente calidad y por supuesto que son de uso rudo y para el diario. Un dato útil es que el reloj de la foto trae la letra "A" así como que antigua y el que me mandaron trae la nueva letra.

Es mi segundo reloj Armitron. Quiero destacar que la calidad de estos productos es muy superior al precio tan bajo que tienen. Tengo relojes de marcas más reconocidas pero este reloj no le pide nada a otros relojes. Debo aclarar que mi opinión se basa en relojes de tipo deportivo. Y en ese sentido me parece que adquieres un gran producto a un precio muy bajo. Tiene una relación precio-calidad impresionante. Lo recomiendo al 100 %

Muy buen reloj, me gustó mucho más tenerlo en físico que verlo en las fotos, se siente bien construido, la luz nocturna es my buena, dejaré una foto. En total he comprado 3 armitron y con ninguno he tenido problemas, muy buen precio y calidad. No le doy 5 estrellas porque cuando me llegó vi unos rayones pequeños en la carátula y estaba ajustado a la hora y fecha actual, lo cual me dice que no era 100% nuevo y probablemente era una devolución, pero no tengo problemas por lo que pagué, pero sí por favor controlen más sus productos. Pero en general funciona bien

.. I seen complaints about not being able to see the numbers clearly. To me it's ok.. I wouldn't complain about it. It's a pretty thick watch though. . if you don't like them thick. Just be careful.. .. honestly if you wanna pay maybe 10 bucks more... I would go for a Casio... better quality and way for functions..
