Pen is too light and the nib performs poorly

I love Waterman pens and I have several of them. The Embleme is a large pen. It is smooth and silky, but, it is BIG. It is larger than most shirt pockets.

When I receive this pen and it was solid. I used it for few weeks and noticed there are flaws in design and construction. First at all, the plastic part of the pen felt cheap. the cap is solid however not so tightly connected with the top of pen while writing. I had to remove it off the top to feel more grip on the pen. The construction of the pen is barely acceptable with the brand and I had few Waterman pens to compare. They were more sturdy and more costly than this pen. This pen is good when compared with fine writing instruments in same price range. When I compared this pen with other Waterman pens, I think it is okay despite of some design and construction flaws. Maybe I have this bias because I loved the older Waterman pens.

It's a beautiful pen; writes beautifully and EXCELLENTLY PRICED! I am truly enjoying it. I am a "pen" person and I just love this one. Thanks Amazon!

Don’t buy this pen.It is not up to the quality of this brand historically speaking. I have owned Waterman rolling writers for many years, and liked the look of this one. When I opened it and took it out, my first impression was how light and cheaply made it was.This isn’t even a good buy at $20, let alone $60. Sorry to say if this is the type products Waterman is selling these days, I will look elsewhere. This is really a disappointment.

oh, well. the quality. it isn't "resin" i shaved a bit from inside and that plastic isn't quite resin.the pen is very top heavy while as light as any "pack of 5" pen, so, it is very light and unbalanced.the box is........ seriously? is this pen made by waterman?maybe i am comparing it to other Waterman pens that i got over the years and maybe the standards are much much lower now. so whatever waterman.btw. expert should still be ok, right? i have an old one and this pen was a daily replacement for an "expert" .... ha ha ! that old expert is still better looking, feeling and functioning pen.

This pen is insanely cheap feeling, luckily I got 50% off which still doesn't make up for how cheap this thing is but at least it softened the blow a little bit. Wayyyyy better pens out there for $50.... heck wayyy better pens out there for $3.

The cap is a heavy, beautiful cap. The body is a cheap think plastic. I buy Waterman because they are a heavier ink pen that writes effortlessly. This was a shock. This was not worth the cost.

Me gustó la pluma. Aunque es algo tosca y no se escribe muy fluido ya que se siente un poco rasposa la punta al escribir y quedan pelusas del papel. Sin embargo, se escribe muy bien con ella y el cartucho recargable integrado es una gran ventaja. Además hay que andar con cuidado con la tapa porque cuando la quitas para escribir, si haces algún movimiento brusco podría llegar a zafarse del otro extremo

Nice ballpoint pen but a little top heavy for my taste. Fit and finish are up to my expectations.

Habe den Rollerball für meinen Freund zu Weihnachten bestellt. Auf den Fotos sieht er sehr hochwertig aus, angekommen ist ein Stift, der total billig aussieht. Außerdem fehlte die Mine, obwohl in der Beschreibung eine feine Schreibmine mit schwarzer Tinte angegeben ist. Die Verpackung war auch schon geöffnet, ein zurück geschickter Artikel, den ich bekommen habe?Bin enttäuscht, schicke den Stift umgehend zurück und mir fehlt nun ein Teil meines Geschenkes :-(
