I tried and loved ELF’s primer / finishing powder because it doesn’t dust the bathroom and my shirt. So I thought maybe I would like this too but it gets makeup dust all over, if you’ve tried physicians formula mineral compact, you’ll know what I’m talking about. These aren’t like the bare minerals compact that just goes into your brush and on your face smoothly. Instead it’s like a loose powder that’s caked into a compact until you touch it with your brush, then it flies all over the room! This is lighter than the ELF primer / finishing powder in the same shade as well.

I loved this powder. Blends very well, stays fresh looking for a long time. I even slept in my makeup & it looked good the next day. The only thing I could wish for would be that this compact was larger. It is small, so you will have to re-ordering more frequently. However, at this price, it is an excellent value. I am so glad a friend of mine told me to try this. It really does match my skin tone much better than most makeups. Even my very expensive makeup didn't match like this. Even if you are used to high end products, give this a try. You won't be disappointed.

I do like this powder. It goes on smooth with the little included white pad thing or with a face brush. It doesn't dry my skin out and it blends nicely for me. I do always use the elf primer but don't always do a full face with foundation, concealer, etc. and this goes on very nicely either way. I don't have to use a ton of it either which is really nice. Elf did a really nice job with this one!

I would say the coverage is pretty good Maybe not the best not the worst. Comparing price with other cosmetic companies I have found it to be worth the money. I have to re-apply during a regular work day but that's probably true with all powders. All in all I love the color as I'm very fair and the ivory in my opinion is a true ivory without that yellow hue you sometimes see in the ivory tones.
