1/72 Scale Boeing E-3B AWACS Military Aircraft Model Kit - Self-Assembly Hobby Model for Teenagers and Adults, Unisex

I was looking forward to assembling this as a present for my father, to honor his work as an AWAC engineer in plastic form. Today reality hit me in the face much like my model kit against the wall from the DML delivery guy, with the beauty and grace of tossing a old mircowave at the dump, it's possible he was working on his three pointer throw with the amount of force excreted. I open it up to see the front of the box gashed open like that of an autopsy. Then I open the box to be greeted with a cracked fuselage and pieces attached by spurs looking that of tree branches. Even one of the spurs broken in half, coupled all with the fact it may not have a smooth fit certianly not that of tamiya and revell.Now I doubt it will be finished in any short amount of time, I will press on never the less. To conclude this is the fraction of the price of that seen else where for an E-3 but certianly makes up for that with the effort needed for it. Get it if you have the time and skill to put into it, look elsewhere if you a smooth experience.
