We love this beam!!!!!! The covering is soft and comfortable, but the beam is still firm... we love the firmness because this is more realistic to an actual balance beam. This beam is perfect for a beginning gymnast, but also for the experienced and more advance gymnast. So practicing leaps, cartwheels, walkovers, and handsprings are safer at home with this beam and also help gymnasts to gain confidence and accuracy without the fear of falling off!!! For us... this beam was also water resistant because we literally took it to the beach and put it in the wet sand in the ocean!!! Not to mention, it’s so light weight that my 6 year old carried it herself. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend for gymnasts at any level!

My daughter uses this beam to practice new skills as well as perfecting old ones. It is a floor beam so she feels safe trying new skills. It's non-slip bottom makes it great for paracticing turns and tricks as it stays put! The material is firm, and the width is the same as a standard competition beam, so transferring the skills to the high beam once comfortable is a breeze. We love this beam!

This beam is just what we were looking for! With an aspiring young gymnast, and a younger daughter who loves to dance, we needed to find something that was perfect for them to continue to work on her skills while at home. Springee to the rescue! This beam is smooth, but not slippery, compact that it folds under the bed, long enough that she can do more than walk on it....it is solid on the floor so it doesn't slip around as some less expensive ones do. For this price point, this beam is great for at home practice and a must-have for families with little gymnasts, and has been great for my tiny dancer. My girls can't be at the gym every minute, so this allows them to get some of their practice in in the comfort of our own home!

My daughters both love this beam. It works for both ages. (3 and 7) It is easy for both to set up and carry around the house. They can do it ALL by themselves! My daughter says it feel like she is at her gym when she is on it. We have two foldable beams and she ALWAYS reaches for this one. Its firm and they don't slip while on it. Also, even holds dad when he feels like doing a handstand too!! 😄

My parents bought this for my youngest as a birthday present at my suggestion. I'm so glad they did. Most practice beams are soft, with the focus being on safety. But that doesn't help a young gymnast learn proper balance when doing the moves. This beam does not give under either of my girls. It folds up easily, doesn't slide at all on our hardwood floors, and can be carried by my 4 yr old just fine. The lovely purple color doesn't hurt their feelings either. This was well worth the cost and will be used for many years I'm sure.

We bought this beam for our 8yr old gymnast to use at home and it’s been perfect!!! She couldn’t wait to get it out of the box!!! As soon as she did, she was doing her cartwheel and back walkover with great confidence! The beam is awesome! Its nice and firm without being as hard as a normal beam. It stays in place on the carpet or floor and it’s very nonintimidating!!! It’s also made with quality materials and should last for quite aometime! Now we just have to try to keep the cats off of it!!!😻

My daughter had been making do with the bed post/end in the master bedroom. It is 11 cm wide (instead of 4 inches). Therefore, she had been falling off the beam during competition. Now, she is practicing on the proper width balance beam, and she's been practicing a lot. We will see how much her performance improves.We got it because one of her team mates got this balance beam.The product itself is light weight (easy to use and put away), but sturdy. It does not permanently occupy precious space in the house. It is so light, we can bring it with us on our vacation.
