Just what I needed!
Just the right size for my neck and shoulder. Nothing better than that moist heat to help loosen things up!

No surprises
This was purchased for a friend. We already have one and thought he could benefit from it. The biggest drawback is the boiling, wrapping and unwrapping the towels and how everything gets wet no matter how hard you try.

The greatest for all types of pain
While I'm awaiting neck surgery I came across this and I am beyond happy I did.I have used many heating pads and sprays to help ease the chronic pain I live in daily to no avail. After reading some reviews I took the advice and purchased this.So Thank you to those who honestly reviewed this .At first this seemed to be a bit of a Hassel such as soaking over night than boiling this. After the first few uses I became quickly accustomed to preparing this for use. This is very similar to the ones my PT used on me .I feel I get the same effect, just this one is smaller.I like how it gets deep into the tissue and stays heated for along time.Just be sure to wrap in towels like instructions say or you will find out quickly how hot these really get.I have been using 3 X daily and I am definitely getting some relief I know I won't get 100% because my injury is so severe. That said I highly recommend these to everyone as long as you have the patience to follow the simple instructions .you too should find relief much better than the typical plug in heating pads.I am beyond happy to have found this here on Amazon at such a low cost as well.I should also mention mine didn't have any weird ,obnoxious smell.

Not bad, but need to be replaced about every 4 months with regular use.
These work well and are priced fairly well, but in a hydrocollator with frequent use they only last about 4 months before breaking down and leaking profusely. They then must be replaced.

Poor Sitching, Burst After First Day
These hot packs are terrible. They burst not even 24 hours after use. They were prepped and stored properly, seems to be the poor stitching in these things. Chattanooga is much much better. Not cost-effective if you're having to replace them every week.

Provides moist heat
This is what my husband's therapist uses and they provide excellent moist heat. They aren't particularly easy to use. I fold it in third and it fits nicely into a stock pot. I use a candy thermometer to heat it to 160โฐ and maintain that heat for 15 minutes. Wrap it in the cover (sold separately) and then in a towel. After using it, I put it into a bucket and keep it covered in water until the next use. It is a process but I think it is worth the effort.

Excellent
This works very well. It holds the heat and feels good afterwards.

Does the job
I use these professionally for clients. I found these ones are more stinky than others I have used. The instructions do warn you about this and that you may need to change the water a few times at first. Previous ones I believe I only changed water once. These ones are stanky But good seems and does what itโs supposed to do.
