This product works well....I gave it a four star because "I Like It".....I'm not sure that I Love it. It takes a little elbow grease to remove the silicone and adhesives that I bought it for. It is NOT some type of miracle product, nor is it advertised as one. Anything more aggressive and it would probably do damage to the surface.

This product was a great help in removing silicone sealant in two shower stalls.

It worked pretty good but sure wasn't the miracle I had hoped for.I reglaze bathtubs for a living and so I get a lot of jobs where I am removing old shower doors. I need the surface to be 100% clean and free of silicone contamination.I purchased a quart for 40 bucks in March 2018 and when I checked up on it to possibly buy some more I see the price has more than doubled.Did they add gold to the ingredients?

This product really works. It removed the old silicone from the back of our motorhome that the previous owner had slopped all over and looked like a 5 year old had applied. A little goes a long way, my husband applied with a brush, did not use sprayer and he used about an ounce to remove old silicone from around rear windows and lights. He used a plastic scrapper so as not to scratch the aluminum siding.

I called the company directly for a refund and they said to email the refund request through Amazon. I did this and never heard back. I feel this product is extremely overpriced. It works only after you put a lot and I mean A LOT of scraping and hard work loosening the silicone with a plastic scraper. This works just as well as WD40 does. I was willing to pay the money for a product that was effective but the results that I saw on silicone were just mediocre. I am restoring a vintage camper that had silicone smeared all around every window, screw hole, you name it. I've actually injured my shoulder from scrubbing so hard and for so many weeks. You will not find anything on the market that dissolves silicone. Only products like this that encourage it to "let loose" of whatever it's stuck on. It's up to you to get the product underneath the silicone to achieve this. I'm mad that I spent the money on it and now seems like I'm stuck with it too. If you don't like it, you probably won't get a refund either.

A mobile detailer came to my house and cleaned my wife's car on the driveway. Apparently he used an Armor-All like silicone-based substance to clean the tires and it left a residue on the driveway that only appears (as shiny half-moon spots) when it rains. Thus I purchased DSR-5 to hopefully remove the silicone residue from the driveway but it didn't work (even if I tried scrubbing or pressure-washing it out).

While caulking with Dow 995 accidentally dripped onto a customers white carpet, this is what saved our ass. This is the best product to remove any type of adhesive. Goo gone x 10

DSR-5 works very well. I'm well satisfied with this product. I used it to remove silicone caulk from the roof of our RV and shower. My wife used it to remove double faced tape and Velcro from the interior. We also used the plastic double edged razor blade scraper on both. We're completely satisfied.
