Maybe it's a love it or hate it deal--I loved it.
Okay, last month I got on the scale and realized I was pushing 260 pounds. Not bad if you are a linebacker, I guess, but I'm five foot one...in heels. I'm also 61, female, and an emotional binge-eater. None of these are pluses in weight loss. My sons are doing keto and having great success, so I figured I'd go that route. Problem is, I have a job as a freelance editor (working from home) and there might as well be a written requirement for grazing while whipping a manuscript into shape. Other problem...I binge when I'm stressed or emotional. Not like we have anything to be stressed or emotional about these days, eh? So figuring that I'm going to eat a certain amount of junk food no matter what, I look for keto/Atkins-type stuff. Atkins for the candy/cookie type junk (I've already left reviews on a couple of those products), and SOMETHING ELSE for the salty stuff. I settle on this. Why? I stumbled across it while doing a search on "keto snacks." I love cheese; I'm pretty much a cheese-a-holic. So I figure anything with cheese as the only ingredient is worth a try. Okay, what I get is a box a little taller than a big can of Planters mixed nuts, and almost as thick. I'm thinking the box is a little smallish. Then I pull out a package. This is a ten-pack, meaning ten packages with two bars in each package. One package = one serving. The packages are about the length of an iPhone XR or 12, but narrower, maybe an inch and a half wide. They weigh next to nothing--each packet is less than one ounce. All these do not make me smile. Opening the package, I see something like a small, rectangular, hardened rice cake. Two of them. Then I bite into one. The crunch is loud enough to register on a Geiger counter, I'm pretty sure. These suckers are LOUD. It's hard to describe the flavor of the thing. It's definitely cheesy, but not like the mild American cheese most people eat. I'm into the bolder flavors, like Tillamook. "Just the Cheese" is aggressively, militantly, radically cheesy. I mean, it's like you're tasting it even before you eat it, and still tasting it after you eat it. The flavor is really strong. And it's cheese. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. It's just so strong that the first bite can throw you off. The second bite is easier. It's FILLING. You won't want more than one packet of these at a time. This is good. Less than one carb--this is better. High fat (12 grams) and 8 grams of protein. So I'm hooked. I looked at a lot of reviews for this product and it looks like a lot of people hate it. Maybe they don't have the same relationship with cheese that I do. To each his own. To address the last concern, yes, it's pricey. It comes out to between $1.90-2.00 per package. But I figure anything low carb (you can't get much lower than <1), that fills you up on 150 calories, and that tastes like this is a win-win situation. You get ten servings, which will fill you up enough that you're guaranteed not to binge, so you won't eat more than a pack a day. The good thing is that except for the days I fast, I have a snack like this one and that's all I need between meals. I'm not hungry. Heck, I could almost use this as a meal substitute. And I've dropped nine pounds in three weeks. I'm happy.

Something Cheesy is going on
So, I don't watch the Sharks (couldn't care less) but I saw these in a local store and then found them here on Amazon so I decided to buy some, expecting a real S-show in shipping and taste and everything else. Sure seems like someone has a grudge against this company. Here's my take: Taste: They're cheese so, duh, they taste like cheese. Full of flavor, most taste buds are used to some creamy texture so our brains are "wired" for something soft. These are crisp, crunchy and require chewing. So, the brain is having problems processing this. Whatever, they taste great if you like cheese. Portion Size: They are fine for a snack which is the purpose of the product. If you want more, open a second packet. For those who understand portion control, looking for that "crunch" without the carbs, and want the protein, these are perfect. Shipping: No issues here. Yup, a wild hurricane rolled through and delayed delivery but no broken/crush packets. These will probably last for months and still be perfectly usable. Don't blame the product for poor shipping issues. Conclusion: These are a great alternative to a traditional crunchy snack. The cheddar has very little salt added but it appears to be more pronounced than eating a piece of cheese. Big deal, they are fine. Enjoy, i sure do and have passed some along to other converts, looking to avoid the carbs. You won't be disappointed with these.

Empty package
Product is good, however received one package with nothing inside… reached out to the company and told us there was nothing they could do… also received no response from Amazon as well.

Another Shark Tank purchaser
OK...I love cheese and saw these on Shark Tank. It took me all of 5 minutes to order them. Got to say I'm a tad disappointed. Much harder than I would like and your mouth is left with a salty aftertaste. Too much salt. But beyond that...they're good. This product is worth a $1 a pack...any price higher is too much.. I know the Shark Tank guys really pushed this man to raise his prices....I think this will be a big mistake overall. There won't be much repeat business if priced too high.

Expensive but tasty low carb snack
A delicious low carb snack if you have a taste for fried cheese or cheese flavored snacks. I'm a frequent buyer and would love to give 5 stars for taste (refrigerate them) but because these are lousy expensive coming in at $2.25 a bar and quality control seems lax (every so often, I get a wrapper filled with air and no bars), only 3.

You either will LOVE or HATE these healthy cheese snacks
SO, I HATED this cheese crisps but my hiker, camper daughter LOVED them. They are portable and high protein so for travel and hiking or biking they make healthy and light weight snacks. They did not taste like cheese at all to me and smelled funny but they did have a nice crunch. My daughter was thrilled to have them and said they were just what she was looking for.

Honestly kinda nasty
I bought these because I love everything cheese, and I love the crispy bits of cheese left over in a pan after making a grilled cheese, and I figured this would be basically that. It's not. Well it kind of is but its not. Hard to explain but the texture makes me want to throw up, and its an intense salt overload. Hardly tastes like cheese. Now I'm sad because I was sure I'd fall in love with this product.

Great cheese crisps!
We love these cheese crisps! They satisfy that desire for a crunchy and salty snack. Bonus is high protein and gluten free! One of us loves to spread peanut butter on the crisp. I prefer them as is! I also crumble some into salads or as toppings on veggies like an instant gratin to up the protein.
