Be careful.
It is vicious and you really have to be quick to rinse it off aluminium or it starts to damage it. Salt corrosion occurs I guess considering the salt base.

Flitz works !! Worth the MONEY !!
WOW !!!! THIS stuff works like a dream !!! My aluminum truck rim had 10+ years of brake dust and other buildup on the backside. Stubborn and wouldn't come off even with a scotch brite pad. Sprayed this stuff on, let it sit for a few minutes, scrubbed with scrub brush, rinsed, repeated the spray, scrubbed again with brush and scotch brite pad and the rim was almost completely clean. Front side looked like almost new. Have 4 more rims, may need another bottle to finish them all front and back. No bad smell. Works as described.

This stuff is magic!!
I can’t even begin to tell you how bad my rims were. It was almost yellow to golden with all the rust and deposits. I just sprayed this once all over and now it looks brand new! And it didn’t even take me more than a couple minutes from spraying, scrubbing and washing it off. This is liquid gold I promise. It’s worth every dollar paid.

This product is the best pre clean for metal parts. Make sure to follow instructions closely. I use it for all sort of stuff from motor cycle wheels to stained dirt bike engines to clean Mattel prior to painting it.
