Spot weld quite nicely
Agreeable to work with. Seems like good quality strip & the surface welds better than the strip i’d been using. It’s a bit more costly than some other’s, but you get what you pay for.

Seems like pure nickel. Not getting rust or sparks
I was doing some tests soldering copper to the strips and was able to pull off the copper along with what appeared to be plating. I thought this meant I may have nickel plated steel but after attempting to corrode it and grind it I get no sparks and no rust. I checked some scrap from a battery pack I had and had the same behavior when ripping off the solder joint. The weight is also in line with nickel but I did not measure the actual length to confirm. 267 grams for .3mmx10mmx10m

Worked well for my 10s4p li-ion 18650 battery build
I wanted the .2mm strip to handle the amps but my DIY spot welder could not get through this nickel strip, my fault not the strip, soldered it with good success. Solder took to it very well so time with heat on the batteries was minimal. Used it for a 10s4p skateboard battery and a 5s2p power tool battery and still have half the roll left.

PURE NICKEL PLATED STEEL
Well guess i should have looked up is Nickel magnetic. Steel is a horrible conductor so ill have to add more to the strip to handle 40 amps to prevent thermal meltdown and tab charringI will say this much though its thicker then what i have been buying and more footage so im not going to complain. The last roll i bought was 8 bucks for 10 feet and this is 30 feet for 16 and some change

Seems Pure
After reading horror stories about getting nickel plated steel rather than pure nickel, I figured I should check what I got. I did a grind/spark test with my Dremel and only got one or two sparks as I ground quite a bit. Then I placed that piece in hot salt water overnight. No observable rust. Seems good. :)

Screaming deal on pure nickel strip!!
This is by far the best deal on solder/spot weld strip that I have come across. The seller is offering an amazing price for 10 meters of solid nickel strip. Most sellers offer 2 meters or less of NICKEL PLATED STEEL strip for the same price. The strip arrived on time and to my pleasant surprise was exactly as described. Ten meters! (30 plus feet) of 99.6 % pure nickel, shipped via Amazon Prime as a bonus... I feel like I won a prize.

Worth it.
Maybe it's just me, but this seems to weld better than my last batch from a different seller. Probably just changes I've made on my end, but still.Works well, Good product.
