best steno pad out there
best steno pad out there. used back in the days of stenographers. don't believe they are used any longer for original purpose, but they are a great pad for anything. used them when i needed to keep a record of my conversations. they are non-glare, the large wire binding means pages don't "catch" and you can fit a pen or pencil in the loop. it's a classic steno's design that allows you to stand the notepad up so you can easily read and type your notes if need be. like that the pages are perforated so if you need to remove a page to carry with you, it tears out easily. they have 144 pages, most have around 70.

Good steno pads...
These TOPS docket steno pads are excellent for office work, including note-taking. The cardboard backing is rugged enough to write on pretty much anywhere, there are plenty of sheets, and the yellow paper is easy to read whether written on in pencil or pen. The top spiral binding makes it easy to transition from page to page. Recommended.

Quality issues
I love writing on canary/legal colored stationary, but there is inconsistency from page to page in the boldness and faintness of the ruling. Paper seems to be of good quality, but it arrived with its cover partially detached making it look like a piece of junk. Definitely not Cambridge/Mead quality paper which will tolerate even the juciest fountain pens. I would not venture beyond pencil or old fashioned ball point ink with this paper, or you'll be producing a mirror image of your writing on the other side of the page with bleed-through.l

Very Poor Quality
Very thin see thru sheets, arrived warped and bent, too expensive for a spiral that is cheaply made. Should be $1 not $12.

Hard backing so you can write comfortably without a desk.
These are made with a hard backing that makes it possible to write comfortably on them without a desk. This is one of very few pads build this way.

Love this pad...
I love these pads. They are good quality, I use them all the time. I like the canary color. They are a bit over priced, but i like them a lot so I pay it.

Reporter's dream notebook
Worth the $7.99 because it's a thick pad, with a sturdy cardboard backer and it's made in the U.S.A. You can hold and take notes standing. I've bought many other brands some are so thin and flimsy they bend in half as your write.
