Yep, it's a cardboard box.
I have several card games that I sleeve (usually with Ultra-Pro sleeves ), which makes boxes like this a must.This box does exactly what you expect. It is sturdy, yet inexpensive. With sleeved cards, the box "only" holds about 200-250 cards, but that is expected, as the sleeves add thickness to the cards.The white outer covering looks good, although I generally cover the or at least label the boxes to know which game is which.The only nitpick I have against the box is that the "ear" flaps that tuck in to secure the lid can sometimes get split or folded. This is not a design flaw, so much as an inherent risk with using corrugated cardboard. It's easy enough to fix with some tape/glue/[your adhesive of choice] to make sure that the flaps stay in good enough condition.

Exactly what I wanted. Fits cards perfectly to keep them together and out of the dust.

Good boxes for baseball card storage
I use these boxes for storing my baseball cards in penny sleeves (so the edges aren't damaged from rubbing against the cardboard). My one complaint is that, through repeated opening and closing, I could see the tabs that keep the box closed getting bent or frayed...I wrapped the tips in a piece of packing tape to prevent this.

I expected the box to be shipped flat and then ...
I expected the box to be shipped flat and then need to fold it myself, but it came "fully assembled". Bonus: the box came with a pack of ~50 Pokemon cards (including a full art Pickachu), a Pokemon coin, and three damage cards from some groundhog themed game. Very random.

For what it is, it does its job. It holds cards. It could be better though. The one I received doesn't close very well. The front flap remains ajar a decent amount when closed which is minor, but annoys me.
