African Dried Smoked Catfish Steak

This a complete rip off and false advertising. This is not the dried fish in the picture that I ordered. I see other people giving this a 4 to 5 stars, maybe you got what you ordered, post your picture, mine is posted, compare advertised picture.

The product picture is misleading and should absolutely be corrected! You get only one piece. Seller should be more transparent.

I received two large catfish steaks totaling 8 oz (I weighed). They were better than shown in the vendor photo.I ordered on a Friday and received the following Tuesday. The vendor must have packaged and sent the order ASAP (via Priority Mail). I also received some extra parts in separate packaging that are not customarily sale-able (head).The fish smelled GOOD—nice, freshly smoked smell. It was not overly salted. It seemed like the smoking was done recently—it was not dried out. I intend to use it for stew, but I would also eat it as jerky (but it’s non-salty).I would order this product from J & B African market again.

tasteless and rubbery. a dissappointment

It is not what I was expecting. The picture presented is totally different from what was sent to me, only 1 small smoked whole fish was sent and the odour is unpleasant .Maybe they choose to send whatever is getting rotten and expired in their store anytime someone orders. This is really baaaaad!!!

Well. I ended up throwing everything out.Please, don't get me wrong. There is nothing particularly wrong with these fish - if that is what you were expecting to receive. But please tell me . . . would you think to expect these fish from the pictures?That's how I ended up throwing away almost $60.00. I just want you to be aware. That's all.
