Great clamp. This was my first time using sleeve clamps but wanted to give it a try. Just to be sure I used Walker muffler paste inside the clamp and it worked very well. These tighten up great and I used an 1/2" impact to insure it was tight. I have no hesitation to use these again if I were to need to.

Bought the 2.25" Exhaust pipe clamps to hold my newly purchased Walker FX muffler (that I also purchased here in Amazon) with the exhaust pipe diameter of 2" to the rest of the exhaust pipe for my 1991 4Runner V6 3.0., that also has a 2" diameter exhaust pipe. The clamps seem to be good quality, it even has the evil energy logo stamped to the clamps. The clamping down of the muffler for now, is till I figure out why my 4Runner runs rich, which caused my previous NEW CalCat catalytic (also a Walker) to burn up & destroy the inside pannelling, creating a hell of a mess of charcoal chunks that flew out of the exhaust pipe, puncturing & also destroying my Walker muffler. 1 chunk keeps floating in there & sometimes clogs the exhaust. So for now, this will be the solution, cutting off the destroyed catalytic & the muffler, remove the chunk of charcoal panel left inside, then clamp the old cleared out catalytic, clamp on the new muffler, & run it for a few weeks like this till I'm sure all the catalytic paneling is out of the exhaust system. Then I can solve the rich running problem, & finally instal a new CalCat catalytic. But this time, it will be a Magnaflow calcat, not a Walker CalCat. For the muffler, the new Walker muffler will do just fine.

Used on the exhaust system of a ‘34 Dodge pickup that I am restoring. It worked out perfectly. Make sure you assemble it correctly. No directions, but easy enough to figure out.

It's a nice clamp, it just doesn't fit my car like the ad says it does. It was way to big, and no amount of tightening sealed it to the pipe. Of course, you don't find this out until its wrapped around the thing and tightened, so returning it was pointless. I made it work with a lot of muffler sealant. Be sure to verify the diameter of your pipe prior to purchasing.

I had never used these before and they make putting exhaust system together so much easier. You don't have to make sure that one pipe slides into another pipe, you just butt the pipe up against each other and use the clamp. The sizes are very specific though. You can't use a 2 1/4" clamp on a 2 3/8" pipe.

Used on a high performance exhaust system on a 2016 dodge charger scatpack. Excellent quality and finish is fantastic. Highly recommend this product.

Worked well for my project truck as it needed a muffler install. Solid construction and seal up nicely. Hardware is solid too. Would definitely buy again if I need too as traditional clamps damage the piping. If the piping is crimped from older style clamps, you will have to either trim it down to get back to smooth piping to reduce the risk of leaks.

Still holding my exhaust together a few years later. Perfect when your in a pinch and don't have a welder. I did used exhaust fiber wrap underneath the clamps. Seems like a good product. Came with cool stickers!
