I would have given a five-star review if the color, black walnut, actually looked more like black walnut. Instead it looks more like oak. Nevertheless, it is well made and attractive with brass end caps and mounting brackets. These will be used in our church sanctuary to assist those going up to the platform (pulpit area).

What a great looking handrail. It truly is a piece of art. After installing it, I realized that it was a little longer than I wanted and that I would have to cut it down or replace the end caps. I called the company and found out that they have shorter end caps that I could use. They even sent them to me free of charge. This fixed the problem. The people at promenaid are so nice and helpful. I would recommend this company and its products to anyone looking for a good handrail

Nice looking, sturdy hand rail but the surface is too slick. Doesn't have as good of a grip as it should for stairs.
