How does this spray help with feather mites on horses?

The spray eliminates mites from the first application. Heavy infestations may take up to 24 hours. It also contains eucalyptus essential oils with antifungal, antimicrobial, and insect-repellent properties.

How often should I apply the feather mite treatment?

Spray the legs initially, then repeat after 7–10 days for up to 42 days. This catches any newly hatched or missed mites and helps keep infestations under control. No washing off is required, making application straightforward.

Despite being called Feather mites, they actually live on the skin, feeding off dead skin cells. When applying you must therefore wet through the feather to the skin ensuring the spray wets the skin thoroughly.
