I purchased this to help manage my persistent nausea from long term medication - I wanted to reduce the number of relief medications I had to take to manage side effects. Out of the box, the device was easy to understand, and the functions are intuitive; just like every Bluetooth earbud I've worn, one tap is up, two taps is down. You can also hit one tap slowly and repeatedly to get all the way to the top intensity, and then it cycles back to the lowest setting. It comes with two wristbands, and the one already installed is comfortably sized. I want to point out that the kit comes with TWO chargers, which is generously intelligent by the company, as it's a specialized charger and you can't pick one up at the gas station if you forget yours at home while travelling. As a standard watch-style function, it is of course very portable. To start, it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. This is a great thing, as I work with computers and having a large bracelet at the bend in my wrist would make it very difficult to type. The band closure may seem difficult to use, but it's extremely well-designed and has stayed on through sleeping, playtime with my dog, and general life and household chores for 20 hours straight without needing adjustment or re-closure. If you're like me, you want to know what each of the lights mean and what flashes mean and similar. I didn't see it anywhere in any of the instruction manuals, videos, or reviews, so I'll tell you here: the lights will flash every three seconds while it's in use, showing you the intensity level it's set at. When I first got it, I thought it was an error alert, but it's simply it alerting you to the device's status. I waffled between a 4 star and 5 star rating for one reason: whether it's just me or normal, it's very difficult to get it in the sweet spot for effective use. I thought it wasn't working the first five minutes I had it on then I shifted it and AH! There's the electrical stimulation! I decided on a 5 star review because it is a lot easier to get it to that sweet spot every time I need it; I'm learning where is the best placement on my body. That's not a fault of the design. I have worn it since I received it except to charge (mine came practically fully charged, which my stomach was thankful for), and have used it repetitively and for extended periods of time. I can tell a definite difference in my body's nausea response to my medications. Instead of my mouth watering, and not in the good way, when I think of food, I actually feel like I can eat something and keep it down. This is a HUGE breakthrough in my health. My meds already wreak havoc, so I need to keep up my strength. I'm so thankful I can do so easily and without even more medication! It lasts all day at minimum even with my excessive use, and charges fully in the time it takes me to shower and do a load of clothes. This means I don't have to go without it for any extended time. In the interest of transparency, I've had the device for 24 hours. I've worn it for 20 and used it for 16 of those 24 hours. I am not normally one to write long, rambling reviews, but given how pervasive my nausea is and how much hope I had with this device, I couldn't stay silent. It is really incredible! I am also a lifelong sufferer of severe motion sickness, and I'm so excited to let someone else drive the car for a change, to play VR games with my kids, and maybe even read on a trip! I wish I'd had enough money to get the more expensive version, as I really need the waterproof feature to keep living my life without fear of damaging the one thing keeping my from vomiting at any moment, but I'm so thankful for this device and how it's already significantly improved my standard of living. TL;DR: Great value for the money, it DOES work, have patience finding the right location on your wrist, battery life is VERY good, band stays clasped, and it comes with TWO of their proprietary charging cables. I suffer from severe daily nausea from type 1 diabetes, chronic anxiety, panic disorder, meinures disease, and binocular vision dysfunction. Needless to say, nausea, vertigo, and motion sickness are a huge part of my daily life. I was seeking a new non-medicinal therapy to try. I was going to replace my acupressure bracelets, but then I noticed EmeTerm offered a budget friendly TEAS therapy bracelet for precisely the things I suffer from. Since acupressure has historically worked reallllyyyyy well for me, I knew EmeTerm was going to be an excellent tool to add to my toolbox. ~ The style and color ~ I got it in pink! I love the pink, it makes me feel so stylish and human. As someone who wears an insulin pump, it can be hard to wear things that others stare at because they just look medical. This does NOT look medical! I even get compliments on it :) ~ What does it feel like? ~ The steady electrical pulses feel like a buzz and tingles, not unsimilar to the buzz of a tattoo machine (without any of the pain mind you). If you don't place it correctly on your wrist, the buzzes and subsequently the nausea relieving effects will be less intense. This is not at fault of the product, it is user error. If the bracelet does not buzz and tingle for you, adjusting the position, tension, and intensity to be more accurately on the T6 pressure point will fix it. ~ Does it actually help nausea? ~ Yes! It does! You have to keep with it and continuously wear it, it is more effective the more you wear it. Because of how severe my motion sickness is, I still have to take motion sickness medicine, but this bracelet has effectively reduced and sometimes eliminated breakthrough motion sickness. As advertised by EmeTerm, this product isn't meant to fully eliminate nausea on it's own, it's meant to turn the intensity dial way down (which it does!). If you suffer from particularly severe motion sickness, I would definitely reccomend using this in conjunction with other therapies such as medicine. It has massively relieved my everyday nausea to the point of not needing nausea medicine everyday for the past near week. I anticipate it to grow even more effective as I continue to use it. I have a long travel day coming up soon, and I am eager to use it then! ~ Is it user friendly? ~ Very! I really love the simplicity of the intensity levels and the fact that you don't need an app to operate it. Putting it on is a little difficult since there is no hinge for the band to be mounted on versus the device itself. It does take a little bit of finagling to strap it on for that reason. There is a vast number of sizes this can be adjusted to for a variety of wrist sizes. I have a 6 ½ inch wrist, and there were still sizes to go down on. The band itself can get pretty sweaty and chafe a bit, but it's tolerable and easy enough to swap wrists! It is overall comfortable to wear and easy to use. ~ Do I and will I reccomend it? ~ Yes! I run a support group for type 1 diabetics who also suffer from GI issues, and they're eagerly waiting for my final verdict. I have already reccomended it to friends and family as well. I reccomend it to you too! This is not a gimmick, this is not a placebo. This is technology based on real medicinal science! If you're tired of popping nausea meds and suffering, this is WORTH a try! I have found that it significantly reduces breakthrough nausea all across the board, and not just for motion sickness alone. In the car it keeps my motion sickness from completely ramping up to severe symptoms, which I am incredibly thankful for. I have a flight on Friday and will update how it helped for flying! UPDATE: 7/23/2026 It worked amazingly for the flights! I had to take connections and flew on smaller, regional jets. The turbulence was no issue! This really kept my breakthrough motion sickness to a tolerable level. So for... Flight motion sickness? Buy it ✅️ Car motion sickness? Buy it ✅️ Anxiety nausea? Buy it ✅️ Indigestion nausea? But it ✅️ Really, if you struggle from any nausea for any reason, this product is truly worth a try!

This device is a motion sickness GAME CHANGER!!! Severe motion sickness has always plagued me. I decided to try the Eme-Term and can not believe it. The was able to ride a whale watch boat for four hours, in choppy New England ocean water, a storm coming in, and NOT ONE BIT of nausea. Other were struggling around me and I was completely fine. This device will allow me to fly, ride the train, and car without issues. I am so excited. Size fits my small wrist perfectly, no issues with the band. Used the lowest setting. It does take a little bit to get used to the tens vibration, but eventually forgot all about it. Best money ever spent. Wish I had found this sooner!! Can’t wait to grt out in adventures again boat, train, plane and car without issues.

Surprisingly effective, but I really dislike the proprietary charger. Would be really nice to be able to use smartwatch wireless charging for it. It's not a miracle worker, so for particularly strong nausea (bad migraines in my case), it takes the edge off without being able to get rid of symptoms entirely. Still, any improvement is a relief, and it does well with mild to moderate queasiness.

I usually struggle on planes and in the backseat of cars, and have even had to sit out on some excursions through hilly areas or winding switchbacks. Used this on a recent trip with both flights and lots of car travel, and was headache and nausea free all week! At times I could sense some motions (the plane circling, or drivers making sudden stops or turns) that would normally send me spinning and queasy, but noticeably no discomfort from them while wearing EmeTerm. I was even able to go without the Dramamine and motion sickness patches. It’s a win for me!!

I originally wanted to try this band for my husband who gets really motion sick in a lot of circumstances - we were going on a trip to some amusement parks and a long cruise after in late February and were hoping to reduce the number of days when he had to take medication; when I ordered mine in January, the company was just starting to send out the new type of band for these devices. As to the reviews complaining about the old band - yes, the old band was easier to put it on with an extra hand, but I own a Fitbit and that has a similar closure, so it wasn't a problem for me. My husband did need help. I did worry about the device possibly dropping off - but Frank, the EmeTerm Customer Service rep who communicated with me, made sure I got a little package with two silicone rings to help keep the band closed and some neat wipes before we went on the trip, because he was certain the new band wouldn't make it in time. Everything worked great with the ring, the device stayed where it was supposed to. That said, the new band arrived yesterday, and even though I am happy with the old one plus the ring, this does look sturdier and easier to close; and it has a ring already attached. The whole thing feels a bit stiffer, more like a watch band. Frank kept me updated throughout the process, which I thought was great. As for functionality for nausea, I think it's a personal-have-to-try-and-see thing, as everyone is different. With the great experience I've had with their customer service, I would say don't hesitate to order one and return it if it doesn't work out for you. My husband did feel a difference with the band when we were testing it on swings (fastest way to get him to feel like throwing up...) before the trip, but found the pulses uncomfortable beyond Level 1 - and Level 1 was not enough to alleviate his queasiness on the swings. With Level 2, he felt somewhat better, but not comfortable, either, and the pulses really bothered him. So he ended up wearing the band in the parks and turning it on while we were standing in line for the somewhat rougher rides (we skipped spinning and swinging ones altogether) and he didn't feel sick after any of them, just a bit terrified after some. ;-) Then he turned it off right away until the next rough ride - he didn't need any meds at all on those days. He did end up taking low daily doses of Meclizine during the cruise and dealt with the tiredness, because he was worried he might have to have the band going all the time, which he didn't want. He wants to try again on a shorter boat trip and see if there are enough distractions so he won't mind the pulses so much; but for the next cruise, we might try the patch for him instead. I on the other hand love this gizmo - we had a couple of rough sea days on the boat, and AFTER I started feeling quite queasy, I put on the band on Level 2, and felt better after about 10 minutes, and pretty much fine after about 20 minutes. Yep, it actually helped after the fact, unlike some other methods I've tried where you have to be proactive. I was able to join a drawing class at the aft of the boat where the motion was really strong, and was fine. After the class, I left it on Level 1 for the rest of the afternoon and was able to take it off when we went to bed. I can feel the pulses, and they feel a little 'pinchy' on Level 2, but not enough so that I would switch to medication. I'm definitely keeping mine and taking it for future boaty adventures; I might get a second one for my husband if he ends up with a successful trial on his next boat ride.

Been using it for over a month now with varying results. At first, it was great, but as my morning sickness ramped up it struggled to keep pace. I used to notice a discernible difference on the two days over the past month where I forgot to wear it. Now, I’m sick multiple times a day even with it on the highest setting round the clock. I haven’t noticed any skin irritation, and like I said, I’ve been wearing it basically around the clock for the last month, except charging. Which is a big win for the decide- it’s quick to charge and holds the charge for a long time even on the highest setting. I haven’t noticed any effectiveness difference between right and left wrist. For the size, weight, and portability it feels just like wearing a watch. Like I said, at first it felt very effective. Now it feels like I’m wearing this just to shock myself endlessly for no reason. The constant flashing lights have been annoying my husband while he tries to sleep. Wish we could turn those off.

This band was a literal LIFE SAVER for my cruise. I get very motion sick with little movement. Every time I felt the boat start to rock considerably (usually at the aft for dinner) I just bumped it up and notch and felt relief within minutes. I took off one star because it did cause me to get a rash possibly from using it at a high shock or from the nickel in the device itself.

I bought this to help with long flights. Normally after 5 or 6 hours I get very nauseated and on occasion sick. After reading reviews, one thing noted was difficulty with the clasp. First time was a little tricky, however after looking at the strap I tried to put something behind the strap when you push the pins into their holes, This worked perfectly and I had no problems with the clasp and wore it for over 20 hours of flying and occasionally on a 7 day river cruise. It helped control my motion sickness.

I get really nauseous on the plane and sometimes I even throw up so I decided to try this watch. When I put it on my hands were tingling a little but everything seemed to go well I went on the plane. and it didn’t work I felt so nauseous and at the end I vomited I would not recommend this device. Would not purchase again but you never know Mabye it’ll work for you but for me it did not.

It's a bit pricey, but if you suffer with car sickness it's honestly worth every penny. It totally worked and stoped me from feeling sick in the car and on a plane. I used to feel nauseous on journeys, but wearing this I could look at my phone on windy roads and felt totally fine. It's very easy to use and simple to charge (comes with two USB charging cables). The battery lasts a long time. It's just like a watch and comfortable to wear, it does create a bizarre tingling sensation in your hand, but you get used to it. I'm totally blown away by the effectiveness.

I loved this device so much I bought the EmeTerm Smart...and I like the Fashion better! I've always struggled with nausea on planes and on cruises, and I honestly never thought anything could help. This did. First, on the plane: My flight had the most turbulence I had ever experienced. Yet, I felt nothing - it was almost disorienting because I also didn't feel the fear I was used to every time the plane dropped. I hadn't realized that could go away, too. Next, on the cruise: The weather was so bad on our cruise that 3 ports were cancelled. Yet again, I felt no nausea. I actually went to the gym every morning on the ship because I was feeling so great (and had lots of extra time with the port cancellations). Finally, I ended up buying the EmeTerm Smart because my Fashion isn't waterproof. Yet I find myself reaching for my Smart (including today) because the Smart has terrible battery life and feels overly complicated when I'm already feeling nauseous. With the Fashion, you just turn it on and start feeling better. Go for it!
