Jewelry Making Kit for Kids - Kid Made Modern My First Jewelry Kit - Bead Lacing Activity Set for Kids Ages 3 and Up

I like this company and they sell products at whole foods too. This is a basic jewelry kit. Child enjoyed. The pieces are large enough to prevent swallowing.

Nice beads. Could use more lanyards and clasps.Problem with keeping different beads separated as the dividers are called dboard and not pasted to bottom of box

I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter. The beads in the box were way too large to make anything other than a very clunky bracelet that was very heavy and did not fit her wrist. Also the end stops for the bracelet were nice to have and help to take the bracelet on and off, but trying to get the provided cord into those end stops was very hard, as the cord end kept fraying.

My 3 year old loved making necklaces with this set. The beads are a good size so it's not a choking hazard but the little pieces shaped like a gear break easily when dropped on the ground. 5 stars if the beads were more durable.

Purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter and we have had so much fun making jewelry together. The beads are the perfect size for her to work with.

Bought this kit for my niece. Great for hand-eye coordination. She is making necklaces for all her family members!

Lame. Beads are fine but the holes are huge. Only one kind of bead doesn’t fit over the closures.

I never write reviews (this is my only one on Amazon). I felt compelled to do so here because we received this set as a gift for a 3 year old, but it was missing the plastic clasps that allow you to finish and wear the jewelry you make. I emailed the company, got a response quickly over a weekend, and they promptly sent me the clasps and some extra beads, all at no charge. That's fantastic service, and Kids Made Modern deserves credit for that. The set itself is good quality. Lots of shapes and colors, easy for small hands to work with (my 3 and 5 year olds love it). The only issue (and loss of a star) is that the clasps are supposed to hold the beads in place to make it easy to stack beads on a necklace or bracelet, but the entire clasp is narrower in diameter than the openings in all but a small handful of the beads. As a result, it's very difficult to actually make any finish jewelry unless you start with those few beads with small holes, or unless you use a binder clip or something else to hold the beads in place (and it's still difficult to finish a piece this way, even for an adult with large hands). Bigger clasps or narrower holes in the beads would help a lot with this issue. Overall, a very nice product that my kids have an will get a lot of use out of.
