Great entry level enterprise firewall.
I recently bought into a business that literally had no firewall or other security in place. Ive used fortigate in other companies and for the price, the 60f is a great value. Very familiar from what I’ve used in the past and the GUI is easy to navigate and use. I paired this firewall with a unifi U6 pro WiFi deployment running vlans and it works perfect! My company has 11 employees and approximately 60 nodes on the network. The 60f is perfect for this size enterprise. Very happy!

Amazing Firewall
Tons of features. If you’re new to networking you may have some issues with setup. There are 100s of YouTube videos that will guide you in setting up. Quality is great, functionality is great. This is an annual subscription device. If you want to pay a few hundred a year for protection, this is a must have. Cons: Connecting to other VPN services is not possible currently. So OpenVPN, WireGuard, and others aren’t able to be integrated at the moment. However they do have a vpn config app for devices.

DO NOT BUY! Should be zero stars. Received an expired firewall and after multiple messages to seller who promised to resolve the issue with the mfg, still expired and unresolved.

Fantastic but for experts only
Fantastic full featured product but only for technical experts. Very fast hardware and packet inspection software. SSL VPN support has been withdrawn, so you have to use IPSEC, which is difficult to configure but which I did get working great with 2FA. Learning curve is steep and the GUI is not great - many tasks require using the CLI. You have to be very careful to use the firmware version specific documentation. It will block the new Apple IOS email privacy feature as a man in the middle attack unless you configure the firewall to allow the Apple proxies.

Great firewall better than most Sonicwalls
Fortinet 60f is better than comparable Sonicwall’s tz370 or tz470 models due to the better performance for VPN traffic and reporting for compliance. Love it!
