NUNET TV Converter Box Digital to Analog ATSC Streaming Media Players HD TV Box PVR DVR Schedule Recorder w. 35 Miles Over The Air Antenna, Upgraded Remote w. TV Control Buttons (2022 Version)

This is the second converter/recorder I've tried (an EXuby M/N EXB DCB1668 was the first and was returned for refund after one month). It is by far the better of the two. I live 20 miles west of Chicago (Villa Park) and am an AT&T customer. The unit comes with an antenna, converter/recorder, remote and user manual. The user manual is excellent. It's fairly comprehensive, has color photos and diagrams, and is written in plain English (not Engrish). The onscreen menus might take a little getting use to, but are also easy to use and understand. I like the remote. You don't need a vise-like grip to depress the buttons AND you don't have to point it directly at the converter box. The buttons are a little small for my hand, but then my fingers and sausages have a few couple things in common. The converter does a great job recording programs we pre-select. You can also one-button record a program you are watching. The downside is that you won't be able to watch another channel while it is in record mode. My solution was a second antenna, so I could watch different channel (I have a 10 year old Samsung 32" LED smart TV). I tried a signal splitter, but it didn't work well. From what I understand, splitter actually reduces signal throughput. I believe the converter actually has a signal booster built into it. You'll have to read the Amazon description to be sure. The antenna was a real surprise for me. it doesn't look like much when you first look at it. But, when I plugged it in and did the first channel search, it found 23 stations. I moved it to various spots and finally found a good one. The last search found 78 channels. Boiiiiiing! Granted, most were garbage to me. I don't speak or understand, Spanish, Korean or Polish (except for maybe a few swear words - thanks Grandma). It also picked up a 'ton' for shopping channels (HSN, QVC and a couple others). As a matter of fact, many of the channels it found are duplicated. For instance ME TV. It picked up the broadcast from Chicago(?) and maybe Hammond, Indiana as well. On the plus side, we receive the (4) PBS channels and the CW. Woo-hoo! The box has frozen up three times since we've had it (one month). However, I've only had to unplug it once to get it working again. The other two times it rebooted itself and worked fine. It only seems to freeze up while I'm using the Extended Play Guide. It can be slow to retrieve program information and I can be impatient - button overload. They advertise that the EPG guide can display a weeks worth of programming, but I haven't been seen more that a day and a half to two days. I bought a 128GB USB for $15.00 from Amazon, to record on. I've had as many as 8 recorded programs and there has been plenty of room for more. I have not have to contact customer service, but after reading the feedback for other people who have purchased this box, I believe it would be a positive experience. In conclusion, with this converter, I've been able to tell the over expensive Xfinity to 'blow it out their barracks bag', and can now happily enjoy the lower priced, 'stunted' AT&T TV. I'm very happy with this item. P.S. I was able to watch the Bears games, on CBS, when the AT&T TV service was disrupted (must be run by Packer fans).

Purchased one, it died within 30 days, they sent exchange unit. Now just less than 1 year later, that unit failed to start up after the power was accidentally disconnected. Very poor, unreliable construction. Don't buy - a waste of your money and time.

I have a desktop computer with an HDMI switch, so I can switch between the computer, a Blu-Ray/DVD player, and this TV box and watch movies or TV on my 4K monitor. No need to buy a separate TV set (much cheaper too). The OTA picture is fantastic, at full HD no less. Also, the HDMI switch extracts the audio signal so I can play it through my separate audio system. I like the setup.Operation of this box is easy. It seems to be more reliable than the other ones sold for the same purpose. (I know, I have tried several and didn't like any of them.) When you change channels, the audio is a little out of sync but gets in sync within two or three seconds.The only problem, if you can call it that, is that it sometimes restores channels I have deleted---not many, just three or four---but they are easy to delete all over again.

Clearly the makers of this product knew what customers would needI didn't have to look for additional cables, adapters, plug ins - NOTHING - it was all there in the box!and very easy to install, no deciphering Chinese instructions, no hunting around the internet YouTube videos to see how this was supposed to be - it all worked within 10 minutes of my opening the package.

The amplifier and recorder generally works well. However, several times it has changed from Pacific time (my time) to Eastern time which means that the times that I set for recording were off by three hours as far as the recorder was concerned. Also, once, when the time was correct, it didn't record but that may have been because I had turned the set on.

I read a lot of reviews for a lot of OTA converters and the ones for Nunet sounded the most positive so I bought one. I don't regret it. Installation was easy. Auto search for channels left off many of my favorites in the lower hz range. My bad. I aligned my antenna more precisely toward the towers and all's well, even better than before. Beautiful picture, easy record on a 32gb usb stick. Fast forward/delete works well. The remote control does like to be aimed at the box. you can buy your way out of that if you want. Same with multiple tuners and a lot of other features. For the price they deliver a solid product.

We got this unit for my not-so-tech savvy mom and sister to use in their cord-cutting efforts. The first unit we purchased was defective, and we were able to do a swap with the seller, no issues. The second unit gave out at about 14 months. The unit was dead, and a replacement power supply did not resurrect it.Overall, the system is quirky, using a unique channel numbering system not necessarily associated to the actual channel. It continued to lose settings and have to have preferences reset, such as captioning.For what it was, it would record a program to an external drive, and allow you to replay it to your TV. For this, it gets extra points. For it's substandard design and construction and short life, it gets poor points. Basically, you are getting what you are paying for.I would suggest you look at Tablo for a feature-rich DVR system, and no, I don't have any vested interest in Tablo. It just works.

I couldn't recommend something more than this. It picks up channels perfectly, once you find the right spot for it, up high is the best. We just might cut out cable tv, it displays the picture in full hd, and it's free tv! Other reviewers on here say anything higher than a 32 gb flash drive won't work, but I have and it's functional completely, a 512 gb flash drive. Oh well, weird. This thing is amazing though, we never had this good quality of a signal, especially in the past with weak rabbit ear antennas. If you want antenna tv and you want it to work, totally, get this Nunet TV Converter Box! 10 stars!

This product works great! I bought it to use in a location where it would have been very difficult to run wire for cable TV. The unit is surprisingly compact for all that it can do. The picture quality is fantastic. When using it as a PVR, it's really easy to schedule recordings. I'm very happy with my purchase. Customer service was very prompt and helpful when I had a question about recommended storage media for recording programs.

Worked well for 6 months, now wont turn on, no clock no nothing.

Télécommande très peu de qualité, peu sensible. les boutons sont très dur a pressés, il ne faut pas souffrir d'arthrite. Testé avec une clé usb 3.0, les vidéos étaient saccadées alors j'ai mis un disque dur ssd et le problème était réglé. Le menu est pas travaillé très simplisme pas très intuitif. La navigation entre les menus est très très lente et j'ai changé la lanterne fournie pour une plus de qualité sans vraiment obtenir plus de canaux, je reste en Alberta, alors j'ai Radio-Canada Alberta ce qui était le but de l'achat et deux autres canaux en anglais. Alors pour moi, c'est correct, possibilité de programmer.

The box is very compact and works well for the most part. I am pleased with it.It was easy to set up to scan TV signal from antenna. Recording was easy and playback works.The HDMI output to my TV is great and I use that.Only negatives were minor.1: Setting up timed recordings is simple but you need to set them in chronological order or a less than intuitive message about a timer conflict appears.2: The scan of antenna is not as good as the scan by my TV alone. Several more channels appear from the TV scan.

C'est le 3e convertisseur que j'achète , c'est le meilleur que j'ai eu ! L'image est de meilleur qualité , la manette est bien conçu et de bonne qualité , il y a 2 volumes un pour la télé un pour le convertisseur . Ce que j'apprécie bien c'est qu'en arrivant sur un film on a pas la voix pour personne aveugle automatiquement ! Avec d'autres convertisseurs je devais appuyer sur 3 touches pour enlever cette voix ! Et si j'allais sur une autre chaine quelques minutes , au retour je devais refaire cette manoeuvre !7 Mois après l'achat , j'ai utilisé l'enregistrement sur la clé USB pour la 1ère fois , à la lecture de l'enregistrement , il y avait une coupure d'image de 2 secondes à chaque 15 secondes ! C'était un problème ! J'ai contacté le Support de Nuvending , il m'ont envoyé rapidement un convertisseur de remplacement , j'ai beaucoup apprécié leur service aux clients !
