Adorable!
I so love this teapot! When it arrived, the box was so small I had to remind myself that it holds 18 ounces, and it does. It's quite broad at the base, so no chance of tipping, very stable. It's asthectically pleasing, love the top and that it's stackable, because I know I will purchase other colors. It's a totally NO DRIP spout, I'm enjoying the attached lid which flips up and stays, with a flick of the thumb. I only wash these gems by hand, no dishwasher here. The For Life steeper is, as always, AMAZING! I got the mandarin color to match the steeper cup and it's just a happy color. This size is perfect as I'm usually the only one drinking tea, rarely do I make tea for a second person. I would rather order a couple more of these so when someone comes over, they have their own little teapot and steep whatever tea they like, be it green, black, oolong or herbal tea, and I can have what I want instead of making the tea around the guest. Also, some people like more sugar, no sugar, lemon, or milk in their tea and that way they can personalize the whole pot to suit themselves. Also, what a lovely gift for someone special who loves tea, whether for the holidays, birthday, or as a housewarming gift, box it up with their favorite tea, some rock sugar and a'tea' spoon. Sometimes I like to just use teabags, and I may use it with the infuser so I don't have to 'fish' it out, but if I only want 1 cup of tea, I will just put the teabag into the bottom of the pot and slowly pour water over it, then use my mini teacups. My stump teapot is so much more than just drinking tea, it gives me time each day to relax, slow down, and just savor the simple things, a welcome stall in this fast paced world, whether that takes place in the morning before starting my day, or as a relaxing ritual at days end, it's all around, PERFECT!

Beautiful, slightly small
Beautiful design. Color choices fantastic. Very functional. When pouring, even when completely full, it pours properly without the frustrating drips of other pots. The infuser works well and of course we use tea bags without the infuser. And while we chose this for the smaller size, it is listed as 18 fl oz. We have found it to be an exact 16 fluid ounces. which is just right for two small cups of tea. We would have preferred slightly larger. At least 500 ml if not pushing 600 ml (20 oz). Other then ever so slightly small, it has been perfect for our two cups of morning tea.

Beautiful simplicity!
This pot was a gift to myself as I discover the joy in a few cups of daily tea. I first saw this in an Ann Arbor coffee shop, and fell for the simple, durable and elegant design. I liked how I could see how well it held up in a restaurant setting. As a potter, I found myself being particular on what teapot design spoke to me. This was a winner: The white is beautiful, the pot easy to clean, holds about 2-3 cups of tea, and keeps it nice and warm. The spout pours it well, and while there may be a little drip here and there, it's likely operator error. Inside metal basket with plastic handle does a great job holding the tea bags/leaves. Also happy with the level of detail on chemical components of clay and glaze provided on website. This teapot helps me ease into the day with a beautiful new ritual. Great price. Beautiful design. Very pleased.

Simple, Perfect.
I have to be honest, ive used this item in the past... I first encountered it at a cafe in Cambridge... you could tell by the wear it had be through hundreds of uses, dropped, run through a commercial conveyor washer, etc. It was small, simple and easy to control. The current version is no different. I don't recall the older ones having a plastic handle in the filter, but perhaps it simply broke off after its thousandth use? This particular item is simple and sturdy... It will both last for years to come and come out the other end still looking good. You don't have to hold the lid down when you pour--which is a huge thing for me having a minor form of cerebral palsy--though if you're nervous you can apply counter pressure to the stainless steel tab... It can fill a normal 280ml (6oz) cup 3 times... Allowing me to drink my morning tea with milk, without tainting anything more than my own cup... The lid does not come off, but thats ok with me... it can be cleaned with a basic sink brush and some mild cleaner (vinegar) or abrasive (baking soda). Another interesting thing in my opinion is that the filter just happens to fit well in my daughter's old sippy cup, with a lid ( The First Years Take & Toss Spill-Proof Sippy Cups, 10 Ounce, 4 Count )... allowing me to stop the steep on something i can use multiple times while also protecting it from spills, dust, cats, etc. The benefit to that is after you dump out the bulk of the leaves, the cup is then almost a perfect vessel to fill with water, shake and pour out the couple of remaining that stick to the filter. My favorite benefit though is that they stack. The bottom raised ring on the vessel fits on top of the lid of another, allowing you to safely store a couple, while taking up a minimum of space.. Very nice for the times when my wife and i would like to share tea time, while also drinking the kind we each prefer.

nice teapot design, I wish infuser was taller
I bought this teapot in turquoise - it's not minty green as it appears in the Amazon picture, but a nice turquoise blue, which is what I wanted. I had seen more accurate pictures of the color elsewhere, so I knew what to expect. It's a very stable teapot, with a wide base. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold because it's flat on the inner side. I like the lid design as well. It's a very nice size for one, since I'm the only tea drinker in my house. The infuser prevents even the smallest of tea leaves from escaping, which is great since I drink a lot of small leaf teas like keemuns which tend to escape or get stuck in other built in teapot infusers I've had in the past. I only wish that the infuser was taller/deeper to allow the leaves to infuse in a larger area. I feel that the infuser is too shallow for the depth of the teapot. Again, this is a common problem with built-in teapot infusers. I happen to have a couple of mug-sized Chatsford tea infuser baskets that are taller and actually do fit this teapot and allow more room for leaf expansion. They don't fit perfectly, but they work, and the lid still closes almost all the way. Overall I'm pleased I bought this teapot and would buy it again. I prefer the infuser basket size/depth of Chatsford teapots but I prefer the modern shape and colors of this teapot.

Smaller than I thought I wanted - but love it as is!
When I took it out of the box, I thought "what a dinky little teapot, this will be too small". I am happy to say I was wrong! It is very well designed. It is a perfect companion for my Bodum 11451-01US 17-Ounce Electric Water Kettle. By the time you get the tea and the 17 oz of water (quickly heated in the Bodum), it is filled completely. As long as you don't see water when you look at the spout, it doesn't spill - and I know 'cause I always fill it up! I love that the lid is hassle free as it is attached - you don't have to worry about it falling off and breaking (which usually happens while you are pouring which definitely dampens the enjoyment of that particular cup of tea). I read some reviews about it being a pain to clean. I don't agree, I think it is very easy to clean. Also, if you wanted to get a couple so guests could have a different pot of tea, you may like that these stack (or you could carry your cup of tea on it). The next time I order something from Amazon, I am going to get a spare for guests. By the way, the color black is not an intense black - it is more of a dark graphite black which still works well for me. I don't like the lighter colors of tea pots as they easily show the tea in the crevices which prompts me to clean more than I do when I don't notice it as easily! Love, love, love this little teapot short and stout!

Great little teapot for one
I've had this for a few months. This teapot is the perfect size for about two cups of tea (or one and a half if you have a large mug). I like it because it fits neatly on my desk without taking up a lot of space, and I can refresh my cup very easily. It doesn't keep the tea hot for a long time, but it keeps it hot long enough for my second cup to be hot, and that's all that really matters. The infuser seems like a good size for the teapot, and works great. I brew oolong tea in it often and it has enough space for the leaves to expand. It's easy to clean since the infuser is just a little basket you can pull out and the hole in the top is very large. I can wash it in a bathroom sink since it's so small. I sort of wish it had a goose neck since that's easier to pour than this little spout, but this works perfectly fine for what it is and I don't feel the need to replace it.

Love the color but small size
Cute tea pot and like the color. But size smaller than I thought. Only enough for 1-2 cups of tea.

Perfect one-person teapot
We have been using this type of teapot for a number of years now, and have found it to be the perfect pot: - fits a good amount of tea (0.5l) - keeps the tea fairly hot for a decent amount of time - no dripping when the tea is poured - sturdy and resilient (travels well in luggage if you need your teapot with you on your journeys) - easy to handle, dishwasher-safe, but also fairly easy to clean by hand - aesthetically pleasing design, large variety of colours - reasonably priced - the infuser included with the pot has a fine mesh, and is also easy to clean - comes in two sizes

La meilleure !!!
Pas grand chose à dire... Je ne mets que très peu de commentaires malgré mes nombreux achats sur Amazon mais lorsque c'est parfait, il faut le dire. Style, robustesse, infusion optimale... Superbe.

A really lovely little teapot
I own two of these now, one for home and the other forms an essential part of my camping kit! You cannot camp without being able to make a decent morning cuppa! I love the colours and the design but I wouldn't give it five stars for it's looks alone. The teapot pours beautifully (not something you can say for a lot of teapots) and it washes up well, either in the dishwasher or by hand. If you own more than one they will stack too. The stainless steel insert is removeable making it easy to empty and also to remove when the tea is brewed to your liking so it doesn't keep getting stronger as it sits. If I had a criticism it would be that it is really a pot for one. You can get two small mugs of tea from it but only just. It would be nice if they made a larger version. I love the range of colours (my camping pot matches my trailer tent!! How sad is that!) too. I think they make lovely gifts for a tea drinker. I bought one for my mother-in-law along with some quality loose tea and also the little bamboo tray that goes with the teapot and she was delighted with it.
