I initially decided to try this brand after seeing it on Oprah's Favorite Things list of 2019. She picked the Essentials 18 pack, but since I still have a bunch of those spices in my cabinet I'm waiting to order that until I need to restock my collection. To give me a sense of the brand quality I went with the 6 pack grilling selection, as I'm in HI and it's always grilling season. I'm completely blown away with the taste and how concentrated the flavors are. I've had these almost 2 weeks now and have been able to use 5 of the 6 blends so far.I love how the Cowboy Steak Rub doesn't put sugar into the mix. I've tried other steak rubs in the past and whenever they put sugar in the mix I never like the end result. These flavors were spot-on and the perfect complement to my grass-fed ribeyes.We smoked a pork butt last weekend and coated it in the Carolina Pork Rub. This rub is absolutely everything you could want, a little sweet, a little spice, and the depth of flavor was amplified beautifully through the smoking process.The honey and herb rub was added to some wild-caught salmon and was divine. I feel this rub would also go great on chicken thighs and will try that soon.The Mustard and Tarragon Rub and the Cracked Coriander both pair well with chicken and create distinct and unique flavors. I feel the Corriander rub would go well with a marinated steak for Carne Asada as well, I simply haven't gotten around to that yet.I have yet to try the Balsamic Rub, where I live lamb is fairly pricey so I'm waiting for a decent sale to try this bad boy out. I did a taste test, and am equally impressed with the blends' complexity of flavor and how well all the different tasted meld together.The packaging is cute and I love the tins to help keep everything fresh for the longest possible period of time. It's a great product that I'm now a loyal fan of and will definitely send as gifts since they are all packaged in an eye-catching manner.

The product is awesome and I use these seasonings on all types of food. However, the price for what you get is not worth it. I bought a bigger jar of one of the seasonings elsewhere and I could’ve gotten more for my money.

We talk about this product all the time at my house. Threw the honey one on chicken drumsticks tonight, unbelievable. Tarragon mix tastes like a hacked El Pollo Loco recipe if you throw that on chicken with some citrus. Carolina rub was used with a pineapple mop during the epic smoking of a 7 lb pork shoulder for my luau and we were fainting over the delicious flavor. Every single one of these spices is killer and worth every penny.Several times I have forgotten to plan for dinner and threw a protein plus salt plus oil plus a hastily selected spice mix in a ziplock bag and ended up with one of the most delicious dinners of all time. Seriously idiot proof cooking.One of my all time favorite Amazon purchases. Recommend this for anyone who loves to BBQ, uses a smoker, any lazy cooker, as a gift, stocking stuffer, Fathers Day gift, Mother's Day gift, or any gift for anyone except a vegan.

I love all the spices from Spicewalla. We use the Cowboy Steak Rub a lot and I keep my spice rack up- to-date with their small tins. I do a lot of Pakistani and Indian cooking so it’s great having what I need at peak freshness. If you’re new to spices, Spicewalla is the perfect way to discover new tastes. The Pescado Verde is delicious on grilled fish and meats. I love the Aleppo pepper flakes to give a bit of heat without too much burn. My masalas are always perfect with the spices from Spicewalla. They’ve made a customer for life with me. Proud to be a fellow North Carolinian as well. Keep giving us more new recipes. I love it.

Got these for my boyfriend as a gift and we have loved testing out all the different kinds ! Would totally buy again.

My friends love to grill so I bought this seasoning variety box for Christmas. First of all, they love supporting small businesses - which this is. The packaging was great, with each seasoning/spice mix in a nice, well marked tin. I actually liked it so much I bought myself the cowboy steak seasoning tin. I would highly recommend this company. Not only are you supporting a small business, but one based in Asheville NC (a cool place to visit). I don't review every product I buy from Amazon, but this was worth the time!
