On the pricey side but very moisturizing without looking greasy!
This says that it has SYN-HYCAN in it. I had never heard of that ingredient before! The product page states, “The ingredient SYN-HYCAN helps promote the production of hyaluronic acid.” I looked a little more into the ingredient and found that SYN-HYCAN boosts skins firmness and Hydration. It is designed to help fight sagging skin by boosting hyaluronan content and increasing the expression of decorin and lumican within the skin. All of these factors naturally decrease in the skin with time. Both of these activities of SYN-HYCAN may work to combat sagging, aging skin. According to the company that produces Syn-Hycan, fresh hyaluronan and stronger collagen fibrils result in a visible remodeling effect and a firmer skin.It is a synthetic peptide that helps to fight sagging skin by boosting hyaluronan content. It has been found to boost hyaluronic acid synthesis in the skin by 3x, increase luminance and decor in levels, provide visible filling effect up to 3x better than competitor in just 2 weeks, restore firmness for mature skin, significantly increase skins firmness +200%, significantly increase skin hydration, and significantly decrease the double-chin profile by improved skin firmness.I don’t know about you but to me that sounded like an amazing ingredient so I had to give this a try! This is recommended for severely dry, dehydrated skin that requires more than regular moisturizers give. It’s also great for skin lacking moisture from harsh weather conditions, like winter. This does not have ingredients that are known to cause irritation - fragrances, colorants, Ethanol, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol, Diathanolamine, BHT and Benzyl Alcohol. The info on the box is not in English, which is annoying. They’re selling it to US customers, asking them to spend $30 (at the time of writing this review) for a tube of product, so I think the least they can do is have it so people can read the info on the box. This is an ampoule, which is a kind of intense serum. Most serums come with droppers. This comes in a tube, which I think I prefer! It is odorless. It doesn’t take much to do my face and neck. It glides onto the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feeling to the skin. It feels extremely hydrating with just a little amount. It works well before makeup or on its own.Overall, I really like it. It’s a little pricey but I think it works really well. If you don’t have really dry skin or really dry areas, a regular moisturizer will probably work just fine and there’s no need to get something like this. But, if you feel your skin needs more moisturizing and you’re not getting it from other moisturizers, this one is worth a try! It’s one of the most moisturizing I’ve ever had that didn’t leave me feeling or looking greasy!

gel application, fragrance free
I am in my late 40's with dry, sensitive skin. This arrived in a sealed box, unfortunately the box is sealed on the top and it opens with a flap on the side which isn't sealed. The tube inside doesn't have a seal, so there is really no way to know if it has been tampered with. This is a small tube with a pointed opening for dispensing. The serum is a bit like aloe gel so it is difficult to get the amount you want out, I end up with more stringing out when I'm done squeezing. It applies similarly to aloe gel, and initially has a shine to it which quickly absorbs and disappears. There is no fragrance added, only the natural scent of the product, which I prefer. The best thing about this is that it does not set off my sensitive skin. I had no redness, peeling, breakouts or other problems. I do not find it moisturizing enough on it's own, however. I have to layer it over another moisturizer to feel like I am getting enough for my skin. I do have incredibly dry skin, however, so someone with less dry skin might find it more helpful.

Odorless, Effective, Gentle Enough for All Users; Ubiquitous Ingredients
I think more serums/ampoules should come in these convenient, slim, easy-to-use 1oz tubes vs. the vanity pretty glass droppers. Here, the ZEROID Intensive Hydrating Ampoule (aka supercharged serum) comes in a 1oz gray polyplastic tube. Not the most environmentally sound, I know. But sometimes the droppers are tedious and are not travel-friendly. The contents are protected from air and light and the packaging makes it very convenient for travel/storage.This ampoule is a hint on the expensive side, $30, but I think it is a fair price given the use, quality, and performance. This simply formulated serum is a colorless, clear, odorless, mild watergel. It has wonderful spreadability and melts into the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. Very lightweight and gentle. Not runny.I cleanse, tone, and apply a small amount of this to my face and neck (AM and or PM, safe enough for daily use), and follow up with my moisturizer (and SPF in the AM). I urge anyone using this to follow up with a moisturizer to enhance the benefits. Yes, even if you have oily (but dehydrated) and acne-prone skin. You are trying to build up the moisture barrier, which lessens the triggering onset of excess sebum production and acne-associated inflammation. Doesn't have to be expensive or thick. Just use one you like. This serum, when paired with regular use of a moisturizer, does seem to boost hydration. I'm not patchy or dry (sensitive, combo skin). The Syn-Hycan they mention in the sales post is a synthetic tri-peptide derived mostly from glycerin and water which are ubiquitous ingredients found in nearly all types of hydration-focused serums, lotions, and creams. When coupled with hyaluronic acid (which naturally declines in the skin with age, and is also commonly found in hydration products), the aforementioned components provide a temporary plumping and hydration-retention effect. Again, just be sure you use a good moisturizer shortly after application as HA draws water deeper into the skin. Failing to moisturize can be counterproductive and result in more dryness. Read up on how hyaluronic acid works and what transepidermal water loss is.Overall, a very nice, simple serum. A hint pricey, but well worth it if you want something odorless and effective.

Expired
This product is technically expired and should not be sold. It is written on the package to use it 24 months after production date. The lot received was produced in September 2021 so technically it should not be sold in January 2024. I will use it but I believe it has lost some of it potency.... I feel lied to....
