Great Protection for My Pickleball Paddle
I've destroyed several pickleball paddles dragging the top edge on the ground picking up short-hop shots. I got tired of having the rim of my paddle flopping around. I saw this product and decided to give it try. This product has helped tremendously. I usually have to replace it once a week.

Tacky and durable edge guard tape
From an outdoor racquetball and Pickleball player.Holds up well to contact with the court surface on those digs when you scrape your paddle or racquet on the concrete. Prolongs life of your equipment with one application. I find myself changing it out after about 10 or so playing sessions. Stays on edge adequately. Is a little on the higher priced side, but most quality items tend to be these days. Also, not particularly easy to keep it from creasing when going around the corners of your paddle or racquet. Relief cuts help but not necessary.

Perfect for adding some additional protection over your headguard
Invaluable for protecting the top of your tennis racquet if you are a digger / scraper, like my son is. Had a run with his Babolat racquet where the strings would keep breaking because of scraping on the top edge (and the stock headguard didn't have the strings recessed enough). So now after every restringing, the headguard gets a layer of tape over it, and haven't had problems since. Sticks well, doesn't come off before the racquet is due for a restringing.

Not great
I've used much better edge tape in the past. This didn't protect my pickleball paddle for one day. It doesn't stick well. Just not a great product.

Good value from a reliable brand
I used Gamma guard tape before, but it wasn't wide enough. I usually split the tape in two, each one for covering each half of the racquet head. This way, it leaves the string holes exposed, allowing for the racquet to be strung without having to take the tape off. This Tourna guard time is a little wider, which is perfect for doing just that.

Guarding my Pickleball Racquet
To say that I put a Pickleball Paddle through its paces is an understatement so when I purchased my new paddle I had to do something to add a little more protection. After looking through some ideas I ran across this little protective idea and decided to try it out. So far it has been a great addition to my paddle and had proven itself many times so far. I highly recommend!

Little too wide for my racket, but protects the edge well
this is a thick tape. Very tough and will do a good job protecting your racket. I use it on my pickleball racket. I have found that the tape is a little too wide and when folding over the sides, it tends to bunch up and not lay smooth. As it does not stretch well, you can’t pull out the wrinkles on the sides.
