Replacement Battery for Gateway SQU-715 squ-720

The description of this item is a 11V 4800 mAh battery.The Item I received is a 11V 4400 mAh battery.Other than that the battery works and fits just fine. I am happy about thebattery pack so far, it has been lasting over 2hrs before it gets under 10%charge left.I am satisfied with the purchase for my T6345 laptop.I would have given it 5 stars if the rating had been 4800mah as stated.Update: Oct 2013. I have had this battery pack for about 22 months. It is starting to lose it's charge. Will last about an hour.All things considered for the price it is still worth purchasing. I will be getting another one before to long. It still works out with shipping at about $10.00 a year of use.I see the ad still states the battery pack is 4800mAh and I received a 4400mAh unit. Either they sent me the wrong battery pack or they are misrepresenting the product.

I have spent a decade selling computer products and have never been a big fan of after market batteries, they never seem to work as well as the original. I have had my laptop for over 2 years and use it daily. I had just upgraded to win7 and office 2010 for my online class. I believe in "if its not broke then dont fix it"....so when i noticed i had to carry my charger all over the house, i knew i had to make a choice. I really did not want to spend the money on a new laptop, due to recent upgrades. The battery was not as expensive as i thought it would be, so i figured i had not a lot to lose. I immediately opened the box and charged the battery overnight like the instructions said (it is VERY important to charge your battery and unplug the charger to allow the battery to expend itself, to maximize the life of your battery). This battery was a great buy and has probably extended the life of my laptop for another year at least.....thank you so very much for exceeding my expectations. The only thing is i wish i wouldve looked for a white battery to match my pink laptop, but oh well function over fashion!!!

I was a bit disappointed with the battery life, however on my laptop (p7805) it is not horrible. Running a 9800m gts and a massive screen, its acceptable. I get around 1 hr (If I remember correctly) using Firefox, and do not know what it would be like under load.

Very good replacement battery for my Gateway laptop computer. It was a very good price and holds a charge like the original battery that came with the laptop. It also fits exactly in the battery bay on the laptop. I have heard of some cheaper Chinese made batteries that do not fit quite right into the battery bay like the original equipment batteries do. Have no complaints about the battery now after using it for almost a year.

If you have ever replaced a lap top battery than you can imagine my confusion at first glance. The people manufacturing and supplying these batteries are changing like the weather. Took some research to find the compatible battery for my use and I was not 100% sure I was ordering the right one.. it was, works great.. price was much less than I expected.. I would have liked a more powerful battery but this one will suffice..

First 3 months it was really great, had nearly 2 hours worth of battery power. 6 months in, about an hour and change. 10 months and it's only got power worth about 5 minutes. I do use my laptop a lot but I try to be consistent about letting it drain before charging - then letting it fully charge. Overall an okay purchase. I realize nothings gonna be perfection when it comes to replacement, rechargeable batteries.

Worked well and added life to my aging laptop. I've since moved on to a faster processor, but this gave me at least another 9 months.

When my "replace battery" light came on my laptop, I wasn't sure where I could get a quick Gateway replacement battery these days, but this battery is great! It shipped extremely fast (arrived within 2 days) and after plugging it in and using it for a week, it made me realize just how bad my old battery was. It improved my battery life by an extra 2 hours! As the other reviewers suggested, I initially charged the battery for 24 hours and then let it drain completely. I've had it for a little more than a month now and have no complaints!
