Smaller than you think
These are adequate and cheap for seedling planting. They are thin and flimsy, though there is an upside to that - when you are ready to transplant, it becomes very easy to push out your seedling and soil column from the bottom because these tray cells crumple up very easy. I wouldn't consider these very reusable beyond maybe 2-3 plantings at most. They are also much smaller than you might expect. The volume of soil in each cell really only allows for early seed starts that you will need to transplant pretty quick.

Good Price for What I Needed
Cheap. Numerous. Smaller than the types used in typical nursery flats for the annual flower/vegetable plant sales.Still, large enough. They are, after all, only temporary. What I can add is that the drain holes on the bottoms are NOT sloppily made.

Great affordable, good quality, seedling trays.
Great price for this many trays. You have to be a bit gentle carrying them because they are designed to be separated into single cells so they do tend to pull apart easily. But I spread 50 16 cell trays out and moved them around daily trying to find the best position, and I only had a couple of cells pull loose from the 16 pot tray. Not a big deal, just thought it worth mentioning. They hold up well and are strong enough where you can use them more than once if you can get the seedlings to come out without cutting them.

They'll work.
I like the seed trays themselves, though a bit flimsy. The label sticks don't take pen ink very well though, and smear easily.

I need LOTS of these and there's lots of them ...
I need LOTS of these and there's lots of them! They are somewhat flimsy but I'm careful. They are just what I thought they'd be.

Happy Gardening!
This is a great inexpensive way to start a lot of small seedlings! I don't like the new hexagonal starter cells being pushed by companies like Ferry Morse. These square cells hold a little more soil so they don't dry out so quickly and you can let the plants get a little bit bigger before transplanting.
