Solid option for hotel cooking
As I tell everyone it is more of a sauté pan than a frying pan as the lid captures the steam, but it works great. Yes, nonstick is fragile and you need to only use plastic or silicone utensils. I scratched mine taking a steak out with a fork. And its cooking power is limited by the wattage of the microwave oven, so if you're in hotel with a tiny oven it will take longer for food to get done. But I still love it. I take it on every work trip and now I get to have steak, chicken, fish eggs, etc. on the road and it is actually cooked instead of nuked/microwaved. It's just big enough and doesn't weigh much, it's well worth the price. For what it is, it is probably as good as solution as there can be.

Great utill it caught fire
I have had this for about 4 months. It works so well that I use it everyday. I have perfected cooking steak to medium and potstickers that are brown on one side and steamed on the other side. I brown vegetables, cook fish, and sizzle bacon. I love this thing....maybe too much. It started sparking in one spot around the rim. I didn't want to give it up so I just kept using it while staying close by to keep an eye on it. Sadly today I saw flames so I have to throw it away. I wish it cost less because I love it so much I plan to buy it again. I tried a cheaper microwave crisper and ended up returning it because it did not brown my food. Unfortunately for me, I will be spending the money to buy another one cause it's great till it catches fire.

Microwave frying pan yes
I use my microwave for just about everything. But before I got this, I only fried or grilled anything on my charcoal grill outside. With the microwaveable grill, I can fry hamburgers, steak and fish easily and they taste great!

Easy to use
After continue use of just making rice a roni the non-stick coating us coming of. Decrease in value due to longevity. The product is very easy to use and clean. Performs as intended, and makes making rice a roni a breeze. Love the color, but has no effect order that visual. Handles the microwave heat well and no notable issues. Haven't tasted the product by I assume it would be slightly metallic, food comes out tasty though.

It really works and is easy!
I love this pan! I don’t know how this works, but it really does. I just used it to make me a piece of chicken from raw. I was skeptical and I hate dry chicken so I was thinking there is no way you can cook chicken in the microwave and it not be dry. I warmed the cooker for 3 minutes then added oil like the instructions say and added my piece of chicken and put it in for 2 minutes then flipped it and put it in for 2 more minutes and it was perfect. It also looked just like it would if I had fixed it in a skillet. My chicken was thin so that’s why I only went for 4 total minutes and I don’t like chicken overcooked because it gets dry and tough. It was nice and juicy. I put salt, pepper, and fajita seasoning on both sides before I cooked it. After I flipped the chicken I checked it after one minute by cutting into it. Then I added another minute.

Dangerously overheats interior and exterior of microwave oven
This pot is attractive, light in weight, and easy to clean. It also cooks fast and well. I purchased this pot based on a great part on the glowing reviews by previous buyers. However, it has one serious flaw, which I believe should come with a mandatory warning to consumers. It overheats the interior of the microwave to a dangerously high degree. I cooked chicken fingers and a hamburger. Both for three minutes high (1000 w) on both sides. The microwave shut down after four minutes. I thought it was a fuse at first. For the first time, I ever used this microwave, which is about six years old, it shut itself down due to overheating. The microwave was so hot I was afraid it would catch fire. I could not even touch the exterior of the microwave without getting burned. The pot itself also gets hot but not as hot as the microwave itself. I am not a physicist so I don't understand what is causing the oven to overheat even hotter than the pot. I contacted Maconee at their support email address to find out if they knew of a way to avoid this issue. After waiting eight days I still have received no response about the overheating issue. I am afraid to continue to use the product although I would like to.
