Great product
We love this tape. It works great on our RV. Seals all the seams on the roof. A little difficult to use, if it gets stuck to it's self, IT WILL NOT TURN LOOSE. Easier to use if two people work on it. It depends on what you are using it on as to how easy it comes off. If you use it on vinyl it is really hard to get off. On the roof of the RV it can be repositioned for a short while. Will not stick to canvas on the sides of a pop up camper. As I said , we love it, just ordered our third roll.

Easy to use
This tape works beautifully for RV maintenance and repair. Once it is in place and sealed well with the roller, it will not move. Very pleased with this product.

RV Roof Sealant Tape with Roller โ UV/Waterproof Leak Repair
RV Roof Sealant Tape with Roller โ UV/Waterproof Leak Repair Used this E-SDS 4"x50' white roof sealant tape on my RV roof seams and around ventsโpeel-and-stick application with the included rubber roller made it smooth and bubble-free. The UV-resistant, waterproof tape has held up through desert sun and monsoon rains with no lifting or leaks. Only note: ensure surface is clean and dry before applying, and use the roller firmly to avoid air pockets, but once sealed, it's been a reliable, long-lasting fix for roof and window seals.

These rolls are extremely weighty , no cheap product here .
These rolls weigh a ton. This is not a cheaply made product. I'd purchased mine for one purpose, however, I'd noticed a few folks about 14 blocks from me who are homeless (sort of). Most are living in broken down campers, so I've decided to wait until the weather turns to spring and am going to gift this to them as clearly they need it more than I do. For these folks, if their camper gets too broken down the city will take it and tow it away. These campers are some families home, shelter from the weather, a safe place to rest their heads. Now that I've seen how well this RV Roof Sealant Tape is made I may purchase a few more to use/gift for the same purpose. Here in Cali. with rents haven gone /still going, sky high, many families are living on a wing and a prayer. If you purchase this well made product and have any left over maybe you can gift it instead of letting it simply sit in your storage shed. Even if a small amount is all you have left when your project is finished remember, often a person may just have one very small leak but as we know it only takes one small leak to become a big problem. Be a blessing where you can.

Warm days and flat surfaces
I used to seal the roof surfaces on a 5x9 cargo trailer. It was warmer than the recommended Lowest temperature but onlynbybabiut 5 degrees. I removed the old lose sealer.best as I could but not completely. The tape has messy edges and cause some issues unrolling it and the plastic can be difficult to get started removing. I used denatured alcohol to clean the surfaces. Bit adhered well but didnt seal all the water leaks. Next time will use paste from the can. If the tape curls and touches itself you can't get it apart. I didn't myself on a ladder. Perhapsnam extra set of hand may have helped. I think it would work great of even, flat, clean seams.

Not as good as touted
This product is good if you are able to clean to the bone. If there is any old paint, etc., it doesn't stick so good. Probably excellent for new RVs but not so good for older rigs. I found it to stick but not like others who said they couldn't get it back off. While that was true mostly, I did manage to get it up to straighten it in places but that was before rolling. Make sure you save the material that is on both sides of the roll as the roll will stick to anything if you set it down. I am using it on a vintage aluminum roof and running it across to cover the seams. I dropped it over the side walls an inch so that the corner trim will hold it down. It isn't sticking so well there, but the trim will hold it down. We'll see how that does. I had expected it to be thicker than it is. The exposed surface after application is very smooth therefore probably not paintable. That's a drawback. I will be coating the roof with metal roof coating from Dicor. Don't know how that will react at the edges ... UPDATE: This summer (2024) after applying it in fall of 2023, I find it peeling back at the edges. Also this product will not accept paint or rubber coating over it. It is blistering off. The major problem is it is peeling at edges. Very disappointing! UPDATE 2: Spring 2026. The tape has completely disintegrated! I applied it to the joints of the metal roofing on my TT and applied Dicor rubber roofing compound. The tape has cracked and peeled to the point that there is only scraps of it left. I would not use this again! This just goes to show that we should not be doing reviews too soon. Most everything works well 'out of the box' but time will tell. Please everyone wait a season at least before reviewing.
